Hire a bike, boat or canoe and explore the lake or spend a morning or evening watching the sunrises and sunsets. Sleep to the sounds of crashing surf or awake to the tunes of the local kookaburras. Explore the bike tracks and visit the local points of interest and towns, like Catherine Hill Bay, Birdie Beach or Fraser Park. Excellent beach and lake fishing for fishing enthusiasts.If you are a traveller to Australia this is a must stop. Position at the furthest beach end of the central coast it is quite exclusive and has a wonderful remote feel yet only minutes to arterial roads to both Sydney and Newcastle. With a funky village atmosphere to inner city feeling of cafe's and restaurants and all within walking distance to home. Fortunately, The Coast Hotel is also one of the few remaining venues for local bands and artists can play whilst enjoying a refreshing brew and some fine dining.
