Bellaroo Farm is a secluded country escape nestled in the picturesque Dooralong Valley, approximately 90 minutes drive north of Sydney. The hustle and bustle of city life will quickly seem a distant memory as you immerse yourself in the peaceful natural surroundings of this rural retreat.

Set on 16 beautiful acres, Bellaroo can comfortably accommodate 10 guests. The main homestead showcases a free flowing open plan living area, adjoining a large outdoor entertaining deck, all overlooking the property’s expansive manicured lawns and adjacent paddocks. Whether you’re a family looking for that relaxing weekend away or a larger group wishing to share time together, Bellaroo is the perfect country getaway.

For those wishing to venture away from Bellaroo during their stay, there are many family activities, cafes/restaurants, shops, golf courses and beaches all within a relatively short drive from the property.

The main house is well appointed with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, multiple living spaces, a large open plan kitchen and substantial covered entertaining deck.

The kitchen is extensively equipped with a variety of high quality appliances including a 900mm stove, wall oven, microwave, blender, mixer, slow cooker, espresso machine and coffee grinder, pod coffee machine, soda stream plus ample crockery and utensils. There is also a 6 burner gas BBQ and separate Weber Q for outdoor cooking.

Guests will enjoy year round comfort with ducted reverse cycle air conditioning and heating plus ceiling fans in all bedrooms and living areas. There is also a wood fired combustion heater in the main living area which really brings the house to life in the winter months.

There are many options for family entertainment including a table tennis table, soccerball, football, cricket set, T-ball, croquet, bocce, bikes/trikes, cubby house with swings and slide, plus more. There are also numerous board games, cards, DVD’s, books and a selection of children’s toys inside.

- Bedroom 2 - two bunks to sleep up to 4 people + built in robe.

- Bedroom 3 - Queensize bed + built in robes and drawers

- Main bathroom - large bath and shower with separate toilet vanity rooms

- Additional bathroom adjoining the double garage / rumpus room with shower and toilet

- Laundry – washing machine, dryer, basin, iron and ironing board


Dooralong Valley is on the edge of the Watagan Mountain range attracting an abundance of wildlife. On a beautiful evening guests can sit outside on the deck looking for wallabies, wombats, deer, lyre birds and even the odd echidna, whilst waiting for the breath-taking blanket of stars to come out. Mornings are equally enjoyable watching the kookaburra’s busily at work while listening to the bellbirds elegantly chiming away in the background.

Guests can enjoy a leisurely stroll up the lane where you may get a chance to greet the horses, donkeys, cows and alpacas at the neighbouring properties.


Dooralong Valley is only 50 minutes from Wahroonga, 1 hour from the Hunter Valley and only 40 minutes from the pristine beaches of the Central Coast - Terrigal, Avoca, Shelly beach etc.

Nearby activities:

TreeTops Adventure Park – elevated rope courses built through the trees with zip lines, wobbly bridges, rope ladders, tunnels and more. Courses are designated by age group for children [from 3 years old], juniors and adult.

Amazement Farm & Fun Park - children's maze, petting zoo and café. Suitable for all ages.

Wyong Milk Factory – the precinct includes a licensed café [The Milk Factory Café], delicious locally made cheese and chocolates [The Little Creek Cheese Factory and Luka Chocolates] plus an outdoor children’s playground, kayak hire and more.

Horse Riding at Coast Kids Horse Riding located in Mardi [2 minutes drive from Westfield Tuggerah] - horse and pony riding lessons for all ages. They also run school holiday programs. Booking essential.

Mountain Bike Tours with Central Coast Mountain Bike Tours - guided mountain bike tours catering for beginners through to experienced mountain bikers looking for a fast thrill seeking adventure. Bike hire available.

Self-guided mountain biking, hiking, 4WD’g and horse riding through Watagan and Olney State Forests. Literally thousands of km's of track with amazing lookouts, picnic areas, waterfalls and more.

Australian Reptile Park – a hands on zoo located in a natural bush setting, home to exotic reptiles from around the world and a wide variety of Australian native animals.

Glenworth Valley Adventure Park – experience outdoor adventures at this 3,000 acre property including horse riding, quad bike riding, kayaking, abseiling, laser skirmish and more.

Cinemas, shopping and restaurants – Bellaroo is approximately 20 minutes drive to Wyong town and 25 minutes to Westfield Tuggerah Shopping Centre - a huge multi level retail shopping precinct including cinemas and a variety of dining out options.

Golf - there are four nearby golf courses. The Springs Golf Club and Restaurant at Peats Ridge; Mangrove Mountain Memorial Golf course; plus the courses at Shelley Beach and Magenta Shores have views over the Pacific Ocean.


Bellaroo Farm houses a small caretakers cottage. Guests may see the caretaker feeding the horses during a stay, however the layout of the property is such that the main homestead and the caretakers cottage/grounds do not encroach on each other and function almost entirely independently.

Bellaroo is also home to 5 beautiful horses, owned by other people who agist on our land. The owners of these horses periodically attend the property to ride. They are always very respectful of the property and privacy of others while they are at the property. You may see them during your stay - feel free to say hi or watch as they train on the arena, its lovely to watch and especially enjoyable for the kids


The property has limited mobile phone coverage however there is a land line in the house and wifi for internet connectivity.

The kitchen is stocked with a variety of basics for guests to enjoy including salt, pepper, oil, tea, coffee, sugar, detergent, washing powder, dishwasher tablets etc.

We supply a small number of coffee pods for guests to enjoy. For those wishing to bring more the machine is Caffitaly brand. Alternatively, guests are welcome to use the espresso machine and will need to bring some ground coffee to do so.

There are also a selection of breakfast cereals and non-perishable tinned/jarred items should you find you have forgotten that important ingredient for your meal. While guests are welcome to use these if necessary, we ask you only use what is required for your stay.

All linen and towels are provided with extra blankets located in wardrobes if required during cooler months.

A high chair and stroller are provided for families with babies/toddlers.


Bellaroo Farm is strictly a non-smoking house.

Unfortunately pets are not permitted at Bellaroo Farm during your stay.

No parties or events are to be held at Bellaroo Farm during your stay.

Only the number of guests on the booking are permitted at the property during your stay, unless agreed prior.

Guests are requested to dispose of all rubbish when leaving the property. Bins for landfill red lid and recycling yellow lid are located at the main gates of the property. Please do not fill the neighbour's bins.

Guests are requested to close all gates behind them as horses are kept on the property.

Bellaroo is a working property with unfenced dams and horses. In order to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for everybody, guests are welcome to utilise the entire lawn areas surrounding the property [approx 5 acres]. However, all areas beyond the dam and horse yard [e.g. towards the horse paddocks and caretakers cottage] are out of bounds.

From both a safety perspective and also to comply with our insurance requirements guests are strictly not allowed to enter the horse paddocks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Property Our family of 10 thoroughly enjoyed our weeks holiday at Bellaroo Farm - it was so relaxing. The house had a lovely family feel to it and we spent most of our time on the beautiful verandah overlooking the backyard and the bush and watching the wildlife. We played lots of games in the huge backyard - including tennis, cricket and push bike races and the children loved the cubby house. The owners were extremely helpful with any questions we had prior to arrival and they supplied a comprehensive welcome letter explaining the property. We would highly recommend and definitely love to return.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everything you need and more We had a weekend away at Bellaroo farm for a Xmas in July with friends. It's a beautiful property in a beautiful location. Our group of 6 adults, 3 x 3 year olds & 3 x toddler/babies were well catered for here. Lots of space, lots of things for kids to do - exploring out on the property, or playing with the massive store of toys and sports equipment, we didn't need to leave the whole weekend. Especially loved the huge entertaining patio overlooking the property. We had a lovely stay and would love to visit again!
