This house was completely renovated with the best of everything at a cost in excess of a million dollars from 2008 - 2011 when we then established our accommodation business. In that time, we have accepted over 300 bookings and 2,500 guests.... after receiving 90 very positive reviews, last year we stopped asking our guests for feedback as it is proven that Hargraves Beach House has the proven reputation as one of the most popular places to stay on the NSW Central Coast.
The middle floor of our beach house has two external showers, 2 bathrooms, 3 toilets and 5 bedrooms. Ducted reverse cycle air-conditioning in every room.
There is an additional bathroom with shower toilet and vanity in the street level double garage.
The first floor level includes a 47m wrap-around balcony, all the backyard, heated spa and secure two car garage with internal access is provided for your family friendly and secure stay - just 22 metres from the public access entrance to Hargraves Beach.
Please note: the maximum number of guests is 12 + 2 INFANTS - if there are small children, we can be a little flexible but maximum adults is 12 - we recommend no more than 10 seniors guests.
There is a mandatory $200 house cleaning fee. including clean up and fresh refill of outdoor heated spa
Large groups of adults are ONLY accepted on the basis that they respect our neighbours and abide by our responsible noise and use of alcohol policy. Family groups, retreats and birthday reunions and anniversaries are our preference, but amazingly we have had many adult groups that respect our neighbours and abide by our rules - it is lovely to have so many sensible guests....

Although we do not allow pets, there is a nearby Pet Motel 7km away that is recommended by our local vet. All Paws Pet Motel Lake Munmorah Prices are about $35 per night.
We have a low noise policy and ask you to respect the neighbours, a fee will apply if we receive complaints from our neighbours. You the person making the booking, are responsible for the conduct of every guest at this property. This is a NON SMOKING residence and NO smoking is allowed indoors, if you wish to smoke please do so outdoors.
All cutlery and linen supplied - including laundry and kitchen detergent, shower gel, dishwasher tablets, toilet rolls, coffee and tea starter pack - no need to bring water as you have two large fridges with filtered water and ice on tap.

Beach access is opposite the house leading to a sheltered, family-friendly beach. Hargraves Beach is protected by 5 reefs creating calmer conditions, ideal for children but supervision is always a must anywhere. There are also patrolled surf beaches a short distance away at Lakes Beach and Soldiers Beach. Nearby Cabbage Tree Harbour has a tidal rock pool and a small sheltered beach suitable for young children.
Jenny Dixon Beach has a park and a public picnic BBQ's area within 5 minutes walking distance.
It has about 100 steps from the park to the beach - a great step workout.
Lake Macquarie, Budgewoi Lake & Tuggerah Lake are nearby and are ideal for water sports and fishing. There are also cycling and walking paths along almost the entire sections of these lakes
