Modern, comfortable holiday home just 300 metres from the flags on Terrigal Beach. Located in the prime location of one of Australia's premier beach resort towns just 1.5 hours from the heart of Sydney (1 hour from the northern suburbs).
We also own the adjacent property - The Original Beach House - also listed on Stayz, so can sleep 30+ people across the two properties.
DESIGNED AND EQUIPPED FOR LARGE GROUPS
Saltwater Retreat is a large house suitable for many people. There are different areas where people can separate from others, yet all be together. It is extremely suitable for a family bonding week, corporate planning session or a group of friends.
The massive open plan living area includes kitchen and dining tables to seat up to 18 people indoors and 12 outdoors overlooking the ocean, and 8-10 on the rear deck. Digital TV with Foxtel, DVD and blu-ray. Short walk (3-5 minutes) to the beach and village.
The modern kitchen has stone tops and an island bench, and a separate bar near the deck has its own fridge. The living room opens onto a tiled super deck overlooking the beach, ocean, Terrigal haven and village. There is a 5-burner natural gas BBQ on the rear deck.
FLEXIBLE BEDDING FOR 19
Each of the private bedrooms can be made up as either twin or king beds - 10 singles or 5 king beds in total. There is a master bedroom on each level, both with ensuites and ocean views. One of these master bedrooms also contains a single day bed.
In addition, the rumpus room has two sets of double bunks, a trundle and single, and there is a large sofa bed in the main lounge room. There is a main bathroom and an ensuite on each level, so 4 bathrooms in total. One has a bath.

Saltwater Retreat is professionally cleaned between each stay with hotel-grade linen supplied (included in cost - no need to make your bed when you arrive).
We have keyless touch pad entry so no need to collect keys when you arrive.
There is undercover car parking for 2 cars and off street car parking for 2 or 3 additional cars.
As it is a short walk to the beach, village and two hotels, there is no need to drive.

WHAT TO DO
Terrigal is the sophisticated holiday centre of the Central Coast with fabulous cafes, restaurants, bars, pubs, fashion and homewards boutiques, as well as it's world famous beach.
Terrigal Point is popular for surfing and fishing, the Haven's gentle waves are perfect for small children, as are the paddle boats and canoes on the lake. Attracting holiday-makers since the 1800s, Terrigal's natural beauty can be appreciated from the beachside deck of Saltwater Retreat or, for the more active, the Skillion Lookout on Broken Head provides panoramic coastal views.
The Five Lands Coastal Walkway links Terrigal to the coastal villages of North Avoca, Avoca Beach, Copacabana and Macmasters Beach along a spectacular route tracing along some of the Central Coast's most breathtaking coastline where whales pass in migration from May to October. There is also an important dive site 1.4km offshore where the Ex-HMAS Adelaide rests in 32m of pristine ocean.
The huge Erina Fair Shopping Centre with ice skating rink and multiplex cinema is located about 10 minutes drive from Terrigal, while the quaint old-style Avoca Beach Theatre is about the same distance.
Gosford Stadium, multiple golf course, beaches, lakes and railway stations are all an easy drive.
All of this is 1.5 hours drive/train from Sydney Central - less to Sydney's northern suburbs.
