Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great location, outdated unit. I stayed in this unit for 3 nights during October’s Chromesfest at the Entrance. The unit itself is outdated, providing the bare minimum of amenities- dish cloth and detergent basically. The gas bottle on the BBQ empty, no extra garbage bags (one small- smaller than average shopping bag in the bathroom bin and one in kitchen bin- for a stay for 3 nights which is obviously not enough. There should be extra provided). Poor air conditioning which we were unable to get to work. Fans were not adequate in a muggy apartment. Would NOT recommend with young children. The second bedroom door does not shut which contains 2 bunk beds (not quite child friendly) and a flimsy tv unit, the balcony screen doors do not lock preventing the doors to be open to aerate the apartment with a toddler. The unit is on the third floor from the car park so many stairs, with another flight to walk down to street level. The cleanliness throughout was average- shower disgusting in the area near the door which obviously hasn’t been cleaned in a long time. Short hairs left throughout the bathroom, kitchen cupboards not wiped out in what looks like months- the cleanliness level is what appears to be someone living there and not cleaning often. The apartment in general is outdated- although the view is exceptional.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice location It was nice a nice location and a great layout. Loved the verandah. A few disappointing things though; the air conditioner was not working and the heat was unbearable. The bbq was rusty and did not turn on. If the air on worked I would have given it 5 stars.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice spacious apartment in great location If your travelling with kids or having a family gathering the space the unit and veranda offers is perfect, also a stones throw away from the shops and kids attractions. Gas BBQ needs to be attended too needs a very good clean, kitchen cupboards and (some plates cups cutlery) could also do with a once over to refresh.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Family Getaway!! First time to The Entrance as well as it being our first time away together with our 3 little ones (all <4 years old). Overall our time away was amazing!! Kids loved it and nice couple time too. Best location - second to none, it's literally right across from the park/water/beach. Everything (Coles, restaurants, cinemas etc...) is within walking distance, you really don't need to drive. Pleasantly surprised at the variety of restaurants in the area - Lebanese, Thai, Vietnamese bakery (pork rolls), Italian etc... downstairs is a lovely cafe - they make nice coffee and the Italian restaurant is yummy too. The apartment itself is welcoming and has a fresh fell

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfectly central location Absolutely loved the location of this unit. It was central to the beach, lake, pelican feeding, shops and cafes. We walked everywhere! Unfortunately the place was not the cleanest but workman had been in the apartment the morning prior to our stay. A few of the plates and the chopping had old food on them luke they hadn't been washed properly, which was odd as there is a working dishwasher. Otherwise is was just generally dusty and needed a good sweep. Usually I bring my own pillow but for some reason didn't on this particular holiday - big mistake! My partner described them as makeup remover pads in pillowcases. We went out and purchased better pillows the next morning. The queen build was uncomfortable. The double bed was better but then I would be sharing a room with the child. The roof top terrace was nice with lovely views. Overall, I probably wouldn't stay here again but it did the job for the few days we did stay.
