Capitalising on a private position at Wagstaffe Point adjoining the Bouddi National Park is this amazing bush retreat. The house is located on 1780sqm of bushland and just a few hundred metres from the waterfront at Half Tide Rocks and close to beautiful Lobster Beach.

This property is a private hideaway that is connected to this unique environment through a simple light-filled structure. The result is a stunning building giving the illusion of being suspended in the treetops with large fixed glass panels allowing an abundance of light whilst capitalising on the delightful bush and water views.

Recycled spotted gum floors are featured throughout the living areas with a Jetmaster open fireplace and sandstone hearth adding warmth and comfort. A custom-built kitchen features red mahogany bench-tops, high quality European fittings and invisible shelving. Connecting the kitchen to a delightful outdoor north/east facing deck is a series of sliding doors which create a spacious living and entertaining area.

The main living/kitchen area has reverse cycle airconditioning for added comfort. The master bedroom is located on the main level with private bush views whilst the second and third bedrooms are located upstairs with loft ceilings providing character.

An external bathroom provides additional convenience, and a large bush garden with feature lighting and a paved terrace create another great area to entertain. Downstairs there is a carport, outdoor shower and large storage room.

This property is the ultimate place to unwind, inspire and recharge. Located within walking distance of the Palm Beach ferry wharf at Wagstaffe, Turo Park, the village shops and cafes at Hardys Bay and less than five minutes' drive to Killcare Beach.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous House I believe that my partner and I were the first guests to stay at Treetops since the property changed owners last year and I have to say, the 5 star reviews continue. Treetops is a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. The furnishings are lovely. There is a nice big comfy couch which is perfect for lounging and a fantastic big red chair that gives you such a serene spot to read in the sun or daydream while watching the glistening water and swaying trees. It looked like the property has just had a refresh with some white paint and the main living area felt really bright, airy and spacious. The kitchen was well fit out with everything you may need. They have a great selection of books and a gorgeous sounding audio system if you love listening to music. The real estate agents who manage the property were incredibly friendly, helpful and easy to get in touch with. We felt they were there in case we needed them. Be mindful though, as we were packing up to leave one of the resident kookaburra’s decided to fly in through the FRONT door! Which isn’t the easiest way in for a bird at all. We hadn’t been feeding them…maybe they just didn’t want us to leave! So, make sure you always shut the screens. We managed to help the kookaburra out gently but it got a bit of a shock.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely place to stay Stayed here for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed the home and the local area. Plenty of walking tracks and coves and beaches. The home itself is well fitted out and equipped. My only suggestions would be some sort of lighting near to the BBQ area as its hard to cook on dark nights! I would highly recommend staying here as a couple or a small family. Such a beautiful spot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Romantic stay in a tree house We stayed here for our honeymoon. It was an incredible house-the perfect size. We were amazed by the architecture and decore. Loved how it was so close to cafes and bush walks yet you felt like you were in a hidden tree house. We loved our stay at treetops!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful house for lazing about We stayed 4 nights in Treetops, and would echo all the positive comments in other reviews. The house is light and airy, thoughtfully designed, with lovely tree views and filtered water views. It is well furnished and very comfortable, and being up in the trees gives a sense of privacy that adds to its charms. We stayed there with another couple, and we all enjoyed hanging about on the deck, chatting and reading, and it didn’t feel cramped. The bedrooms are well separated, and the second bedroom upstairs is pleasant and spacious. The main bedroom has its own ensuite, and the bathroom for the second bedroom is just outside the back door off a covered deck, which didn’t bother us one bit, but might be a bit chilly in winter. The kitchen was very well equipped. It is worthwhile knowing that the owners ask guests to use only rice oil on their very nice cookware, and supply rice oil spray. We had brought a fry pan and dutch oven expecting the usual holiday house crummy cookware, so it wasn’t a problem. But if you are planning to cook up a storm, and the plans involve butter or olive oil, then you might want to bring your own cookware for this.
