Rated 3 out of 5 by from Simple, convenient and well priced I really enjoyed my stay at the stables. Great location within walking distance to town centre and many other amenities. Quaint, cosy little cottage, perfect for singles or couples.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lovely property Lovely property. The owner was lovely, welcoming and very helpful. The cottage was exactly what I needed. It is well equipped with kettle, microwave, hot plate and coffee machine. Some areas of the cottage needed a good vacuum but the bathroom was clean, the bed very comfortable and I really enjoyed the DVD collection. All in all it had lovely country charm and I will definitely book it again on my next trip to Bathurst.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Quaint but needs some further work The owner is lovely and welcoming and obviously a lot of effort has gone into renovating the building but we left feeling a bit disappointed. We were there n summer and over a couple of warm days and there is no air conditioning and bedroom and living on second level was very hot even with a portable fan. The bed is an antique double and not very comfortable so we didn't sleep well. The kitchen is not fitted but owner has provided all you need for appliances and a lovely dining setting but from there you are looking out the window at pots with dead plants down the side and and an overgrown yard...bathroom quite nice but blinds falling apart in laundry, tape still on bathroom window from painting. Just a little more attention and The Stable could be great but at present is overpriced and needs bit more work.
