REVIEWS TELL YOU EVERYTHING ...........
....... so read what the Sydney Morning Herald's journalist for Saturday's 'TRAVELLER' magazine Bruce Elder said when he stayed with his family at 'A Miner's Rest' unbeknown to us.
He wrote... 'the cottage was 'A Miner Miracle'. 'The experience of staying in this authentic miner's cottage was delightful'.
'The perfect base from which to explore at a fair price.
A Miner's Rest will delight ' see the full text in the cottage.
Bruce and family stayed incognito and then the next thing we knew we had a write-up in the 'Traveler' section of the Sydney Morning Saturday Herald - for which we thank him.

COMMENTS FROM OUR GUESTS IN THE GUEST BOOK..........
"WHAT WONDERFUL ACCOMMODATION When arrived the first time, we opened the door to find a beautifully restored little gem. This was what we'd hoped for. This was what we imagined we had booked. This was what we got. Thank you..."

'Great place to come home to on a hot day. We loved Miner's and the kids enjoyed the spa - and so did we. We found it close to everything and there was not one thing we wanted that was not there. Thanks for a wonderful holiday' Merry & Jim, Cate and Laurie. Jan '17
'What a surprise when we walked into the cottage It was really sweet and reminded us of John's grandma's house it was so warm and welcoming and it was 'yesteryear' all right but SO comfortable. It sort of encloses you with it's friendliness. We loved Broken Hill and all there was to do - we were flat out every day and wish we could have stayed for a few more days, but it was not to be. Thank you for a very happy stay'. Marg and John. January '17
"A Miner's Rest was the perfect place for our 30th wedding anniversary and thanks for the welcoming champagne and canapés - a very nice surprise. We sat out on the veranda and enjoyed our little 'feast' with a lovely sunset. Good to meet you both too and thanks for your thoughtfulness.' Love, Cathy & Ryan - May 30th 2017
It was freezing cold but thank goodness the cottage wasn't We were so cosy and warm we mostly called in for dinner instead of going out. Enjoyed your DVD collection and comfy beds and loved Broken Hill's friendly people. We'll be back David & Rene. Aug 2017
