Three Bears Farm provides a lovely five bedroom house near Coonabarabran, in the foothills of the Warrumbungles. The setting is peaceful and secluded on 100 acres within a wildlife refuge. You will see native animals, such as wallabies, kangaroos, echidnas and a great variety of birds.
The house has five bedrooms and comfortably sleeps 7-8 adults with 2 queen beds and 4 single beds. There is a beautiful kitchen which is well set up for self catering with a large stove, microwave and dishwasher. Tea and coffee are provided. The house is large and all on one level, and it has two bathrooms, two dining/ living areas and a beautiful north facing view and pergola. There is reverse cycle air conditioning, as well as a wood combustion heater for the cold weather.
From this base, you are well placed to explore some wonderful local attractions, including the Warrumbungle National Park, Siding Springs Observatory,Sandstone Caves, Pilliga Pottery, and the Pilliga National Park.
You are welcome to explore the acres of bush around the home, and try your luck catching yabbies in one of the dams.
As the property is part of a wildlife refuge, this property does not generally accept pets, but if you have a well trained four legged companion, the house yard has a secure fence and this may be considered so please ask us about this when you book.
