Relax with a glass of wine while you watch a movie on the big screen. Our home theatre has an overhead projector, a large 3 metre screen and surround sound. Choose a movie or simply watch TV. For those who prefer to cater for themselves Ranelagh offers a spacious, well equipped eat in kitchen with oven, microwave, double door fridge with freezer and ice maker, dishwasher, all crockery, cutlery and serving dishes and a generous dining setting for 10.
Ranelagh was built in 1875 for Joshua Gill who wished to accommodate his large family of 10 children. Ranelagh was built in a stately manner, which is unrivalled in Dubbo, even by today's standards, to reflect Gills status as a prosperous local merchant. Gill owned the first general store in Dubbo, The Overland Store.
