Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lovely Garden Outlook This is a charming little cottage, with lovely light and a comfy bed and great shower. It is nestled in a small village which is beautiful to walk around. Even though it is one bedroom there is a pull out sofa bed in the lounge room. TV reception is not good and no movie channels mostly sport. Also if you want to cook there are no staples like oil etc and no local shops open when we were there so stock up before you come. Also to note is just the cottage is joined to the house next door and we could hear the owners talking in their lounge room, but that is a minor issue. Fun art work behind the bed to create a country feeling. It is only 20minutes to Dubbo and on a busy long weekend we were glad not to be where all the tourists were. Dubbo was full of lovely surprises including the amazing Cultural Centre where we had a lovely lunch. The Dubbo Zoo was the purpose of our visit and didn't disappoint. Even though it was a long weekend we found ourselves walking the whole zoo for 6 hours and sometimes were on a road with nobody. It was a wonderful experience with beautiful animals in a safari like environment. Again take your own lunch as they had run out food by 2pm so we had ice creams for lunch! We had dinner at a wonderful local Thai restaurant next to a petrol station near all the motels. All in all a great trip and the drive there is spectacular.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great place to stay Really enjoyed this cottage - a little bit rustic and thrown together but that is its charm. Both my wife, granddaughter and myself thought this place was comfortable and we felt at ease here.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing house just outside Dubbo! We stayed in the 'big house' which was amazing! Suzi and Tim have done a great job in renovating the house and it was a real treat to experience it. Walking around looking at tim's paintings was an added bonus. It's the perfect place to kick back and relax and in close proximity to Dubbo.
