A Church in Mudgee
A Church in Mudgee is one of Mudgee's original country churches built in 1939 and now situated on "Harrowfield" just 5 minutes drive from Mudgee. When operating as a church it could seat 50 parishioners at the monthly services conducted by visiting priests but now just accommodates 2 guests.
The Church is in a corner of the extensive garden. Screened from the homestead by shrubs, trees and lawn allowing you a private spot to take in the expansive views and abundant birdlife. A BBQ is provided on the church terrace.
Renovated to provide quality, self-contained, private accommodation. 'A Church in Mudgee' offers you the best of both worlds; you are close to Mudgee 5 min drive and its attractions while staying in the countryside.
The church is open plan. In the area where once the congregation would have sat is a comfortable sitting room and kitchenette. The bedroom area is where the altar once was and is screened from the living space. A king size bed is provided.
The kitchenette is equipped with small fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. A gas barbecue is on the terrace outside and the cupboards are stocked with crockery, glassware and cutlery.
There is a wood fire and a plentiful supply of wood, air-conditioning, ceiling fan as well as access to Harrowfield's tennis court and swimming pool.
