A BEAUTIFUL 1930s HOME IN THE HEART OF MUDGEE TOWN
Normandie Cottage, built in the 1930s, is cosy and the perfect place for a weekend getaway. A stroll to the centre of town, only 100m to Church Street, the Main Street in mudgee, which makes you only minutes from the shops, cafes, amenities, pubs and homewares. A short drive to our gorgeous Wineries.

This home is absolutely perfect for you, comfortablely accomodating up to 9 adults, also feel free to bring a blow up mattress of your own if you need some extra beds for your children or friends, this will be at an extra cost.
The Cottage is styled with brand new country homely furnishings, to keep in line with its beautiful heritage touches. Built in the 1930s, Normandie Cottage is the perfect balance between old world interior with a fresh modern kitchen and bathrooms. There is 3 bedrooms all with Queen beds, and a Double/single bunk bed in an open room just off the living room, which is perfect for adults or children. The Cottage has recently been painted on inside and out, so it feels fresh and clean. The patio is perfect for outside entertaining, there is a grass garden for the kids to run around or you can cosy up with a wine in front of the lounge room fireplace.
The country styled home is located on a quiet street, however so close to the nightlife of Mudgee Town. Just a short drive to our local wineries, trails and walks around the Mudgee countryside.
All of our guests will receive a 10 off Food voucher to be enjoyed at Eton's Eating + Drinking. This establishment has a great menu for both lunch & dinner. So please have a fun time at Normandie Cottage & Elton's on your next stay in Mudgee
They are located at 81 Market Street, just 10 minutes walk from the Cottage.

If you need to check in earlier before 3pm, please let me know and I'll see if I can accomodate this for you, it will just depend on other bookings.
IMPORTANT PRICING DETAILS
Stayz.com charge a GST Booking Fee of 10 on the nightly price.
A mandatory Cleaning service charge $160 per stay & Refundable Damage Deposit $500 & Stayz admin service fee. Per Stay. Prices may fluctuate due to demand of property, and can change at anytime prior to when booking has been confirmed by guests.
If guests require to book their stay the day of or next day as a group is leaving, there will be an extra $50 cleaning service charge on top of the normal charge, for a laundromat service, for a quick turn around.
If you require a quick turn around check in, same day the check in time will also be delayed to 5pm depending on the size of previous group.
Stayz does not have a button to add these additional charges, so I have to request the extra funds after booking is confirmed. I will send you details and require funds straight away please, if forever reason the booking doesn’t go ahead, these extra funds will be refunded back ASAP.
HOT WATER I must advise that showers be kept to a minimum, We like to conserve water in the country. FYI there hasn't been much rain at all for 2017.
Linen, doonas, comforters, pillows and towels, 1 each, are provided for up to 9 people. The doonas should be warm enough, along with oil heaters and the lounge room fire place, however if you feel the cold easily, please bring your own extra warm doonas and towels. Doonas and an extra blanket are provided for the Queen rooms, but only a doona is provided for the bunk beds.
Coffee, tea & sugar is supplied. If it runs out, Aldi is just around the corner to fill up on supplies. Please bring your own milk.
There is a fireplace for your use, please just empty COLD ASHES into metal bucket provided, and maintain a SAFE environment when using it as logs can fall out of the combustion heater easily. Extra Wood and fire starters can be bought from Bunnings up on the Sydney Road, or possibly Mitre 10 on the corner. We will supply some logs for you at the side of the house, however you will need to bring your own newspaper and kindling can be collected in the park across the road if need be. Wood will be supplied in winter months.
Or for your convenience, please warm the lounge room with the heater provided. There are two oil heaters, however are only small for the two large rooms, so if you feel the cold, please bring and extra blanket, especially for those sleeping in the bunk beds.
There is a washing machine, dryer and clothes line, please bring own washing powder for a top loader if you will be having an extended stay and needing to wash your things. Aldi is easily accessible so all grocery shopping can be done with ease. Not to mention the bottle shop which is just in town.
Mezzanine level in front queen bedroom - no one is allowed access to this for your own safety, hence why I have placed a chair in front of the access. The banister is low and I ask you to strictly follow my instructions of "No Access allowed" please. There is a sign on a he stairs that clearly states "No Admittance". Thank you
DOGS/ANIMALS - please let me know in your booking request if you plan on bringing a dog or cat with you, or any other animal. I will only allow this if your dog is garden trained, and by this I mean no barking, no digging, no jumping fences, no crying at night. We will need to discuss this before your booking is confirmed. Your dog will need to be content with living and sleeping outside. NO DOGS ARE PERMITTED INSIDE the home at any time as dogs can catch fleas very easily and be left inside, and traces of dogs on furniture can leave future guests with allergies. No UNVACCINATED dogs are allowed on the property, as they can leave traces of disease in their urine and faeces, and unfortunately will pass this on to other dogs. All dog faeces and wee must be cleaned up and disposed of in the public bins before leaving the property. If the garden has been dug up, then the damages bond will not be returned. In the very hot summer months approximately January and February, Mudgee reaches levels of 35-45 degrees, so as a dog owner I can not have dogs safely sitting outside in this heat, so I will not allow it, sorry.
Smoking is not allowed, please smoke on the street and deposit butts in the public bins.
We ask that you please keep the noise down after 9pm to keep our neighbours happy. Please take yourselves inside to keep noise down. No parties are permitted please as this is our home away from home, and we would like to keep everyone happy, and of course have you back as a guest on your next stay in Mudgee.
There is PLENTY of parking on the street.
