Built in 1912, this classic Edwardian house - with pressed metal ceilings, picture rails, shaded verandas and rear courtyard - is set in private gardens in the heart of Mudgee. Our traditional double fronted, double brick house features a cool, shaded front veranda and original stained glass entrance door opening onto a central hallway with decorative timber mouldings and polished hardwood floor.
Featuring decorative high pressed metal ceilings and original fireplace surrounds fireplaces not open the 3 large queen bedrooms offer wool carpeted floors for winter warmth and comfort. The main bedroom leads to a separate dressing room and fully appointed ensuite shower room. The main bathroom features full-size bath with shower and screen and both bathrooms have heat-lamps for winter warmth.
The fully appointed chef's kitchen features the traditional Metters cast iron stove as a feature, complemented by a contemporary white kitchen including high-spec stainless steel electric oven, gas cooktop , rangehood, dishwasher and microwave. A mobile timber butchers block provides an additional food preparation area.
