Greentrees is a comfortable country home with peaceful valley views. Green lawns, flower beds, shrubs and trees combine to create a beautifully relaxing garden and serene atmosphere.
An informal atmosphere with country hospitality typifies Greentrees. Old fashioned fare, homemade jams and preserves and locally grown fruit and vegetables in season are offered to guests.
There are eight rooms and one luxury suite with their own decor, design and colour theme, each of which typifies the special features of the Orange and surrounding district in a unique way. The original home has two elegant family style rooms. They are the Gold and Pink Rooms. Their details are set out below. There is a Function Room which also serves on occasion as a BYO Restaurant. The Garden Room seats up to 60 people and is ideal for special occasions and family celebrations. Bookings are essential. Disabled facilities and access are available in the Guest House and Restaurant.
I have listed three rooms on the Stayz site. The Rose Suite - which will sleep a maximum of 3 people.
I am also listing my largest family room - called the Barnyard, which sleeps up to 6 people - and the Spring Room which sleeps up to four people. My website has detailed description of these three rooms - as well as the other 6 rooms.
Complimentary transfers to and from the airport, railway and bus stations are available to guests, Tariffs are moderate and discounts are available for Golden Chain Gold Link Travel Club members. Long term board is also available.

Pets are permitted at Greentrees only with the prior knowledge and approval of Greentrees Management.
Adjacent off-street parking to each room is conveniently available as all accomodation is a at ground level and on a flat site. Parking spaces are not specifically allocated to any one particular room.
1. When you arrive at the 50 km sign in Orange, continue on the
Mitchell Highway Bathurst Road in an westerly direction.
2. Cross over the railway line and continue on the main street still the Mitchell Highway which is now called Summer Street.
3. Cross over the small roundabout where Hill Street intersects Summer Street and proceed to the second roundabout. You turn left here, taking the signs to Mt. Canobolas.
5. You should now be travelling east along Woodward Street. Count 4 streets off on the Right Hand Side. The fourth street is Racecourse Road.
6. Turn right onto Racecourse Rd and travel along it for 2 - 3 kilometres until you come to a very small concrete bridge a rail overpass bridge.
7. At this bridge Racecourse Road ends and Pinnacle Road begins. Continue along Pinnacle Rd for approximately 900m until you reach the intersection with Lysterfield Road small gravel country laneway on your left
9. Turn left onto Lysterfield Rd
10. Greentrees entry is on 60 metres on the right in Lysterfield Road.

Peak Periods, Public Holidays, Long Weekends and Local Special Events require minimum booking periods. An additional tariff of $20.00/room/night applies to these periods. For Local Special Events minimum booking periods vary in length depending on the event.

Room hire is currently set at a daily rate of $150/day. This fee includes the use of the PA system, lectern, all magnetic white boards, flip charts, projector screen $25 extra hire for the projector itself , iced water and glucose lollies as required for the day, bottomless cups of tea and coffee, room layout as per client request with heating or cooling depending on the season. Internet, fax and photocopying services are also available for a cost recovery fee.
The main conference room can seat up to 60 people, but is perfect for groups of up to 40 people. At this size the room can be set to suit almost any client lay-out requirement. There are two smaller breakout rooms in the original home which are very suitable for workshop and cell group tasks. The large terrace and the spacious gardens are also eminently suitable for these requirements weather permitting.
A full catering service is available. Delicous home-cooked morning and afternoon teas are available from $6.50/person. Taste tempting light luncheons from $15.50/person are a house speciality. Fine old-fashioned dinners two courses featuring local produce in season are also available from $35.00/person.
Accomodation is also available on site. There are Two standard rooms, three Superior Suites and three De Luxe Suites - all with ensuites - which can sleep at least two people each. Some rooms, complete with kitchenettes, sleep up to five people. There is also a luxury suite with a huge spa and king bed. All the rooms in the New Wing have their own balcony or verandah overlooking the little valley with its tranquil rural beauty.
Situated on 8 acres, Greentrees has ample on-site client parking. There is, in addition, a bus baywhich accepts up to large coaster-size buses.
