Welcome to Historic Bowen Terrace House Tastefully decorated, spacious and super comfortable, this charming two storey terrace house was built in 1876 and is part of Bowen Terrace, a NSW state heritage listed property. Recently restored, with many of its original features retained, it is in an ideal base from which visitors can easily explore Orange. Centrally located, great coffee, fine food, cafes, the art gallery, museum, cinema and shops are all within easy walking distance.

Near the central business district, this lovely terrace also offers a convenient and luxurious alternative to hotel accommodation.

There are three boutique bedrooms, two queen and one double. The upstairs master bedroom stretches the width of the terrace and overlooks the balcony via two french doors. The downstairs queen bedroom is situated in the original terrace drawing room and features a period fire place and lovely brass bed. All bedrooms feature beautiful linen including embroidered sheets.

There are two large bathrooms - the upstairs bathroom has a shower and toilet and the downstairs bathroom features a spa bath, bath/shower and toilet. Body wash, hand soap and soft, fluffy towels are provided.

The downstairs lounge room contains a large day bed and leather armchairs for reading or watching television. There is also a heritage chapel organ.

For anyone wishing to eat in, there is a fully equipped separate kitchen with stove, oven, range hood, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and everything else you need to whip up a meal. Coffee, tea and milk is also provided.

Next to the kitchen is a large dining room with seating for six around a large country table. Two french doors open out onto a sun and lavender filled rear courtyard which has outdoor seating under a large market umbrella.

The upstairs rooms of the terrace have central heating/air conditioning. In the cooler months, the downstairs rooms are heated with panel heaters and a modern gas log fire. There are also electric blankets fitted to all the beds should you need them.

Off street parking is available at the rear of the terrace and is easily accessible through the courtyard gate.

Please note that because of the heritage staircase and other original features, the terrace is not suitable for crawling infants, children under 12 or folks with mobility difficulties.
