Long established in the heart of the Picturesque Wee Jasper Valley and close to the crystal clear waters of the Goodradigbee river sits the iconic Coodravale Homestead.
The Coodravale Homestead is located just over an hour from Canberra and is some 45 Minutes from Yass. Coodravale was originally a Sheep station of some 30,000 acres and was home to Banjo Paterson from 1908 - 1911. Banjo penned a number of his poems whilst living at Coodravale, drawing inspiration from the surrounding country side, which today remains very much as he would have seen it. He sold his share of the property to the Lindeman (Wine) family who built the current Homestead in 1923.
