Rated 4 out of 5 by from Loved it Welcoming, peaceful, clean, fully-equipped and cosy .... Slept so well! The garden beds made me want to break out my tools but really only added to the charm i guess. would def come back for a week's bushwalking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shady Trees was very roomy with a large garden, and in an extremely peaceful location. It was 5 minutes from the nearest town which, although small, had a good selection of shops from which everyday essentials could be purchased. The people in the area were very friendly and helpful, especially those in the Visitor Centre. For visitors wishing to 'keep fit', and people interested in all kinds of sports the local facilities were excellent. (The town had probably served as a location for the Sydney Olympics in 2000). For those who enjoy river and forest walks there are many tracks nearby, and there are also a couple of wine estates - Tugwood is within 15 minutes and Villa d'Esta is about 45 minute's drive, and the seaside coast is only about 1 hour away. Barrington Tops World Heritage Site is practically on the doorstep, although some of the access roads are gravel/unsealed.
