Nestled in the foothills of the World Heritage Barrington Tops National Park, within a short distance of stunning Chichester Dam and only 25mins to Dungog, this delightful cabin, exclusively set within the wilderness area is nourishment for the soul.
Designed to blend seamlessly with the environment, this corner cabin is very private and high-set to take advantage of breathtaking views. A step out of the cabin finds you on the walking trails that take you across Williams River and through the heart of the wilderness.
The cabin is well-appointed throughout with feature windows, polished floorboards, a full kitchen with open-plan dining/living area leading out to a balcony. The main queen bedroom is downstairs with 4 singles upstairs.
The cabin offers a largely tech-free retreat - if your idea of a true escape is an internet, mobile phone and TV free environment this is the spot for you! Mobile phone coverage is lost once you enter the park and purposefully there is no wi-fi! The on-site caretaker does have a phone for any emergencies.
For entertainment there are DVDs with a TV/monitor, board games and books. And for the active the cabin has bikes and tennis racquets free on loan.
We ask guests to bring your own linen including towels and sheets - the main bed is queen size and the other beds single. Sleeping bags are a great option for the kids!
