Located in Bucketty, New South Wales, Australia.
Wombat Ridge is a very special place to live and only an hour and a half from the centre of Sydney, 50 mins from the Hunter’s vineyards and 45 mins to the Central Coast beaches. The property backs onto Olney State Forest and overlooks the World Heritage listed Yengo National Park.
On the property you will be able to take walks, see wallabies in the early morning, spot wombats by starlight late at night and find a magnificent view of Mount Yengo. Mount Yengo is a natural feature of spiritual importance to the Darkinjung people. It is the place Baiame, the creator spirit, jumped back up to the spirit world after he created all of the mountains, lakes, rivers and caves in the area. Baiame flattened the top of Mount Yengo when he jumped skyward.
