Amble Lea Lodge is a wonderful place to escape with friends and/or family for the perfect bush holiday. Located in the Barrington Wilderness Estate, adjacent to Chichester Dam and a 20 minute drive from Dungog.
The lodge has 3 bedrooms and can sleep up to 10 people. The bedrooms are large and 2 of them open onto a deck with beautiful views of the countryside. (bedroom - 1 queen bed with ensuite, bedroom 2 - double bed and a single and a trundle, bedroom 3 has 2 sets of bunk beds)
Amble Lea lodge is located in the Barrington Wilderness Estate so guests have the use of a salt water swimming pool and tennis court, as well as the common land, in total over 160 acres.
It is air conditioned, has a slow combustion fire, well equipped kitchen and laundry facilities with outside barbeque.
The large bathroom has a 2 person spa bath.
The lounge has a cathedral ceiling, is comfortably country style furnished, with dining seating for 10 people, and a TV, DVD and CD player.
Amble Lea is on the far boundary of the estate, a short walk from the swimming pool, tennis court and children's playground.
From the verandah there are beautiful views down the valley with farmland right next door and no doubt you will get a few visits from the local wallabies.
Bed linen and towels supplied and kitchen is fully equipped so all you need to bring is your food and whatever you want to do while you enjoy your stay in the beautiful foothills of the Barrington Tops National Park.....favourite books, cd's, dvd's, tennis racquets, warm clothes for chilly evenings in winter, beach towel for swimming pool or river swims if summer and some walking shoes as there are beautiful walks nearby.
