Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent propert! Well appointed property. Good kitchen facilities. New bathroom with lots of room. Beds were comfortable. Ate outside for all meals which was great. Despite the wet we were able to do some exploring and managed a nearby walk. This was a very relaxing weekend but could also have been a very outdoor weekend. Would love to come back for a week!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfectly peaceful This cottage was the perfect meeting place for my friend and I to catch up. Very peaceful and relaxing, yet only a short drive to cafes etc. The decor is really lovely, cozy and comfortable. A dip in the river was also a pleasure with easy access from the cottage. The hosts here have thought of everything, so all that's left for you to do is enjoy! We only stayed for a weekend, but wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful and Tranquil We absolutely enjoyed our weekend at the Old Schoolmaster's Cottage - Jenny was very thoughtful in sending us Things To Do whilst we were there and touching base with us on how we were enjoying our stay. The cottage is clean, and like a home away from home, with everything you need for a perfect family getaway. The surrounding fields offer a perfect playground for the children and the short walk to the river provides a little adventure and picturesque walk for everyone. We will definitely be coming back!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tranquil and beautiful We recently spent a weekend for a mum's weekend away at the Old School Masters Cottage. The cottage is so cute and suited our group perfectly. It was clean, tidy and well appointed. Plenty of firewood made the cottage cosy on a cold winter's night. Sitting on verandah in winter sun listening to the river and enjoying the rural landscape an absolute treat for the soul. Perfect. No mobile phone range was awesome. Free Wifi provided all the communication we needed. We'll be back.
