Blaxlands Cottage, located on Broke Estate Vineyard is a little piece of history which has recently been lovingly restored to its former glory. The cottage, formerly the estate's cellar door, along with the property's homestead are historically quite captivating! Gregory Blaxland was commissioned to find 'The Great North Road' for the colony of Sydney and passed through Broke in 1816. His brother John was later granted the land where the Blaxland family built the cottage around 1890. The Blaxlands were awarded the first medal for wine sent to London from Australia! This unique, cosy cottage is just right for 2 or a small group of up to 4 guests.
