This well designed sunny and bright apartment, has floor to ceiling sliding doors leading out to North facing outdoor covered balconies which capture morning to early afternoon sun year round with new BBQ & a new comfortable outdoor wicker dining settings on each balcony, just perfect for relaxing and unwinding or entertaining. The apartment features a fully equipped brand new kitchen with large island bench and bar stools perfect for entertaining featuring Smeg oven, Smeg gas cooktop, Smeg microwave, dishwasher & fridge & quality smart TV, Bluetooth soundbar & subwoofer

Daikin Inverter split system air conditioning provides you with comfort year round and there is a modern bathroom with large walk in glass shower to enjoy after a tough day of shopping, dining, sightseeing, swimming/walking on the beach

A secure car space + storage cage is also provided as part of the tariff along with convenient lift access opposite the car space

Complimentary new fast NBN unlimited Wi-Fi Internet along with complimentary satellite TV & access to apps such as Netflix/Stan is now available for your stay.

1 x Double bed with very comfortable Hotel quality mattress in the bedroom which has panoramic district views.

1 x new Queen fold down wall bed with very comfortable mattress to one side of the living area which can be cleverly folded up & away to create more space for dining.

Complimentary High chair can be supplied with prior notice and baby cot hire with linen is also available for hire @ $10/night and families are most welcome

We also supply many luxurious additional features such as quality Sheridan linen including sheets, comfortable pillows, doona's, fluffy bath & beach towels and even luxurious bath robes along with other items to make your stay either a memorable one, a regular stay or a long stay

There is the standard No parties policy so as not to disturb our neighbours or the natural ambience of this boutique residential building and will suit those looking for a quiet & private place to relax and unwind, but there are plenty of places to let your hair down all within close walking proximity & we can supply links to all places of interest once booked

We have just returned from a long term stay at Kevin's apartment in Cooks Hill. From the moment we enquired Kevin was extremely helpful and accommodating. It was our first time travelling to Newcastle and he provided us with all of the relevant information and local amenities, even offering to pick us up from the airport. The apartment was perfectly clean and in an excellent location. Everyone we met commented on how nice the area is. Just a short walk from the beach and restaurants, being 7 months pregnant this was perfect as I didn't even need a car. There wasn't one fault with the apartment and we were so sad to leave. We will miss waking up everyday looking at such a beautiful view whilst eating breakfast on the balcony. Such a relaxing, quiet complex with very friendly neighbours. Thank you again Kevin for your help and kindness. We hope to return next year :- Stayed March to July 2016

The property is located in a very convenient and quiet location and between a 5min to 8min level walk 450mtr to 750mtr finds you at some of the best boutique shops, award winning vibrant cafe's and restaurants and bustling trendy wine bars you will find in Newcastle located in Parry St, Cooks Hill, The Junction and Darby St, Cooks Hill. We have so many favourites here such as Parry Street Garage, The Edwards Bar in Parry St are very close, & Coco Monde, The Depot, 3 Monkeys in Darby St, so you can try somewhere different every day & evening.

A 14min walk 1.2km finds you at the beautiful Bar Beach where you can relax and unwind for a swim or surf and enjoy fish and chips or a hamburger at café Swell. There are tennis courts located next to the Bar Beach bowling club where you can also partake in bare foot bowls

A 14min level walk 1.2km to the end of Darby St takes you to the Newcastle Art Gallery and Civic Park where a variety of concerts and markets occur. Newcastle Art Gallery contains New South Wales' most substantial public art collections outside Sydney and features significant Indigenous and non-Indigenous works of art, the collection represents a comprehensive overview of Australian art from colonial times to the present day, as well as the largest collection of modern Japanese ceramics in the Southern Hemisphere with World class exhibitions frequently on show

A 15min level walk 1.3km or 5min cab or bus ride bus stop 50mtr from apartment takes you to Civic Theatre, Town Hall opposite Civic Park, Newcastle University - City Campus The New Space new law faculty, The Conservatorium of Music and the new law courts

A 6min level walk 500mtrs also takes you to The Junction Village where you have a variety of trendy cafés, restaurants, boutique shops, Coles supermarket & banks

A 19min level walk 1.6km or a 5min cab or bus ride takes you into Hunter St & Hunter st end of King St which provides a cinema on King St and an array of boutique shops, more award winning cafe's and restaurants and more vibrant hidden wine bars to discover

A 19min level walk straight down Darby St crossing over Hunter St 1.6km or a 5min cab or bus ride bus stop 50mtrs from apartment takes you into the Honeysuckle harbour front entertainment precinct Newcastle's version of Darling Harbour with more restaurants, wine bars & the Honeysuckle Hotel and Tourist information centre where bicycles can be hired for a ride along the foreshore and down to Nobbys Beach and lighthouse

Newcastle No.1 Sportsground and playing fields are only a 4min level walk 350mtr, as is Aldi supermarket for groceries with Marketown shopping centre only a 9min level walk 750mtr which has Coles and Woolworths supermarkets and a large Dan Murphy's along with many other specialty stores

This is also a perfect base to take a day trip to the famous Hunter Valley wineries and with the new Hunter expressway it is an easy 45min drive

Newcastle Airport located at Williamtown and Williamtown air base are an easy 20min drive where you can check out Fighter World and also continue on for a day trip to Beautiful Nelson Bay 45mins for whale and dolphin watching cruises within the Port Stephens Shire and Sydney is btw 1.5hr to 2.5 hr drive away straight down the M1

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lovely, well appointed apartment Stayed for 6 nights in Feb 2017 to attend a family wedding in Newcastle. Lovely, well appointed apartment in a very convenient location - very near to town, yet feels quite an 'open' space with the playing fields opposite. Light and bright with 2 small balconies (lots of lovely birds in the trees nearby). Allocated parking space in parking garage out of the sunshine. Good quality appliances and super fast wifi. Stayed as a family (parents and 19 year old son) so had the bed made up in the living room. Whilst the bed was a good comfy bed (as was the bed in bedroom), having that in the living room did take up a lot of space. The dining room table cannot be comfortably used and there is no clothes storage for the person sleeping in that room. There are only 2 chairs for the breakfast bar in the kitchen and neither balcony has enough space for 3 people to sit out on at the same time. This did not particularly bother us as we were out and about with family most of the time, but if we had been looking to self cater more, it might have been an issue. It's an ideal apartment for a couple - perhaps less so for more than 2 adults for more than a night or two. Kevin provided lots of information about the area, which was most welcome.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely apartment Great location only a few minutes away from Darby street, beaches and honeysuckle region. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Newcastle / port Stephens and this was a great base for us. Hubby, myself and the 2 kids fitted in comfortably and it was great to have all amenities a family requires. Wi fi was an optional extra and great to have Secure undercover parking also very handy. Hopefully one day we will return. Thanks Kevin for your friendliness and ability to accommodate.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 5 Stars - Superb Property I stayed at this fabulous property with friends and we were greeted and met with a smile. From the moment we entered the property, the stunning district views were very relaxing and the outlook and aspect were perfect. We enjoyed the peaceful location and found the property very private and surprisingly spacious. You could tell that everything about the property had been carefully chosen and the quality was welcomed and to find champagne and chocolates on arrival was a lovely treat. We found the location extremely convenient to be able to walk to some of the best cafe's, restaurants, shops and a beautiful surf beach was just what the doctor ordered! We can't wait to come back to enjoy this wonderful property - 5 Stars - well done ( :
