We run our home stay as an extension of who we are, freethinkers who love to meet people. This is how we have met and become friends with so many others. We are in our 50's love our travel of the world and want to create something special for other travellers. We have interest in Art as Cherie is a full time artist, travel, theatre, trying new cuisine's and exploring life.
You will have your own room with private bathroom/ensuite with access to the facilities of the house. We share these facilities with our guests in a true Bed and Breakfast atmosphere.
Our home stay suits the free thinker as well as the main stream traveller. It has a beautifully appointed Queen bed and ensuite which includes a two person bath. You will feel like you are at home while being located in the hub of Newcastle. You will have access to your own coffee and tea making facilities and private fridge. An outdoor spa bath with deck area to relax in as well BBQ facilities she you like to cook for yourself. A sun area with outdoor shower facilities surrounded by a high bamboo fence will give you total privacy in the city to totally relax on your journey. A reading area to chill in as well as a TV room with access to cable TV. A recent addition is our 'Bali Hut Day Bed'
We are located close to public transport, a bus stop is 25 m way while a taxi rank is just 50m away. You will be within walking distance to 5 local pubs that have a range of menus from traditional to more up market. Also located close by to stroll to are 3 Asian restaurants, an Indian restaurant as well as Newcastle's largest club complex which includes another 5 restaurants and other facilities. There is also two shopping precincts you are able to have a short walk to and a large shopping Centre only 5 minutes away by car. Parking is available off the street on a service road. Newcastle premier sports stadium is only a 5 minute walk. For live entertainment Lizotte's Theatre Restaurant is only a 5 minute walk away. We are Very close to The John Hunter Hospital , The Hunter Sports Stadium and Newcastle University
