Sleeping up to 8 guests, this renovated heritage cottage, with a modern open-plan kitchen and living room, is tucked away in a riverside setting surrounded by bushland. With views of the Hacking River, it’s an ideal weekend getaway for small groups of friends or families.
From your doorstep, wander down to Audley boatshed and rent a boat to paddle on Audley Weir. Or bring along your bike to cycle the historic Lady Carrington Drive.
Keep your eyes peeled for native wildlife – you might be lucky to spot echidnas and wallabies foraging for food. Visit in spring to see the parks wildflowers in full bloom, including Gymea lilies and angophoras. In summer, spend your evenings lazing on the verandah, after a day splashing in one of the park’s many beaches and waterways.
Bedding configuration: 4 bedrooms - 2 x queen and 2 with x 2 single beds.
Bed linen and towels are provided, please bring your own beach towels.

The kitchen has a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, cooktop, oven, crockery, cutlery and glassware.

There is mobile phone service, however no Wi-Fi is available
Nearby Audley Dance Hall Café has coffee and refreshments, and Audley Boatshed has bike and boat hire.
Check in after 2pm. Check out before 10am.
Keys are available from 2pm and must be picked up prior to 4.30pm from Royal National Park Visitor Centre.
Please contact the Visitor Centre before 4.30pm if arriving afterhours.

As this is a remote property please bring all your supplies with you, such as food.
You can pick up supplies in nearby shops in Sutherland and Engadine.

Off-peak season: Rest of the year, including Winter school holidays.
2 night minimum stay throughout the year.
All reservations incur a booking fee of 2.5% in addition to the total amount payable.
Park entry fees
Park entry fees for this park are not included in your accommodation fees. Daily fees and annual passes can be bought at Royal National Park Visitor Centre.
Reids Flat Cottage is located above Reids Flat picnic area on the foreshore of the Hacking River and is approximately 36km south of Sydney.
Travel south along the Princes Hwy from Sutherland
Turn left into Farnell Ave, Audley (Royal National Park)
Proceed along Farnell Ave to Audley Weir
Turn left onto Riverside Drive before Audley Weir

A key is required to access the locked driveway gate
A security code is required to access the cottage. The security codes will be provided when collecting keys.
