Blissfully private, the "Shack" has vine covered pergolas shading a relaxing chill-out area, and another outdoor BBQ space lit by fairy lights in the evening, on either side of the original cottage.Fully self -contained, with large enclosed verandah, bedroom/sitting room, and self contained kitchen, plus beautifully restored shower and vanity area in adjacent original "wash house", the Shack has won numerous TOURISM AWARDS and has been the romantic location for many photoshoots . It is suitable for ONE COUPLE. Regrettably we do not cater for children over 12 months, and NO PETS.

Why not visit THE WEIR restaurant just opened at AUDLEY WEIR, for a coffee break or meal on the way. Within its enormous protected park environment in the world\'s oldest National Park, you will find aboriginal carvings, magnificent walking trails, and sparkling clean beaches. CATCH THE TRAIN TO CRONULLA AND THE FERRY ACROSS TO BUNDEENA for a no stress arrival, or drive 20 mins from the Princes Hwy turnoff for amazing bush and river views, and easy drive to Bundeena. Remember that the LAST FERRY departs Cronulla Wharf at 6.30 pm. If you miss it, it is quite a long swim
Once in Bundeena you can walk 200 metres to the RSL for great meals ,music, and fun, then stroll to the shops for great cafes, hot bread shop,Post Office, Newsagent, and an extensive IGA...so you don't need to bring much with you Bait and fishing tackle are available at the local Service Station.
The RSL.which unfortunately partly burnt down a few months ago, and is now being restored. is also the local tourism hub, where you can get maps and information you help you decide where to explore, There are so many interesting and even challenging walking trails. You will find maps , and other interesting information, in the Beachshack's Information folders inside the cottage.
The Bundeena Beachshack is right on the beachfront at Gunyah Beach, tucked away behind lush ferns and flowers, and just a 3 minute walk to the Ferry and shops. Gunyah Beach is the quietest of all of Bundeena's beaches, with good swimming, kayaking, snorkelling and fishing.We can supply the kayaks, snorkels and fins, and fishing rods...the rest is up to you For Art lovers, the Beachshack has its own artist-in-residence, and the Art Trail allows you to meet recognised artists in their studios which are open the first Sunday of every month. as are the Bundeena Markets .
