This is a very large [145 sq. mt. excluding verandah] contemporary apartment. South facing rooms
have views of the common Italian garden and north facing rooms have views over the garden/car park of a retirement home to the escarpment.
It is exactly 1 km. drive/walk from the ocean and within 15 minutes drive to Wollongong University and CBD. Across the road from the complex is a large park where pony shows and AFL games are held on Saturdays. The unit is 500 metres walk to Woonona Station and 500 metres walk to the main Wollongong bus route along the Prince's Highway. The unit is 3.5 km. from Thirroul Station where there are 80 minute express trains to Sydney CBD.
Master bedroom has queen bed. 2nd and 3rd bedrooms are double size and each have a set of bunks and a desk. All bedrooms have builtins and all rooms have ceiling fans. The large open plan living area flows out onto a 7 metre long verandah which overlooks a garden and water feature. Lounge has large digital TV and DVD player. The bathroom has a triangular bath and separate shower cubicle. Internal laundry with washer & dryer. 2nd toilet. Kitchen has dishwasher ; MW oven ; fan forced oven ; large, new,frostless fridge and is furbished with heaps of equipment. Column oil heaters available in winter.
All cellular blankets, pillows, doonas, mattress protectors, towels and sheets provided.
Unit will be professionally cleaned before guests arrive.
Corrimal, a major shopping area with Woolworths, Coles, Dan Murphys, several banks and ATMs, bulk bill doctors, public library etc. is 3 km. away.
Woonona Pool, a pumped, filtered sea water, olympic size pool is 1,3 km. away. The southern edge of the Royal National Park is 25 minutes drive to the north. Corrimal heated pool 3 km. away. The northern end of Woonona beach is lifesaver patrolled in the summer months.
The scenic attractions of Kiama, Gerringong, Berry and Kangaroo Valley are within 75 minutes drive to the south. Kiama is 40 minutes on a good run.
This unit would suit holiday makers, visiting lecturers to the university or those caught between longer term options.
It has an allocated car space and ample, safe street parking. No garage provided as owner stores his vehicle and gear in there.
Working neighbours so very quiet after 9pm.
Minimum stay 7 nights. Bond - $500. Extra powerful vacuum cleaner provided. As from 04 Dec. 2015 unit will be connected to National Broadband Network with 25 megabits speed.
House Rules : 1. Definitely NO pets. 2. Smoking only on verandah. 3. No wild parties please.
4. Children must not jump up and down on floor or sofas/ or bounce balls on walls or floor.
