About the property
Nestled under the mountain with NorthEast aspect this airy apartment catches the morning sun at the front of our Federation cottage. It has 180 ocean views, original 12ft ceilings with fans and Air Conditioner in Bedroom its own veranda with separate entrance,off street Parking, large living area with sofa bed, cooking essentials,electric flame heater and dining facilities..Close walk to beach and rock pool and Seacliff Bridge, Scarborough Hotel and next door to Scarborough Bowlo. Close to National Park and Escarpment walks.
The Living Area
There is a separate bedroom with Air Conditioner, Queen bed and en suite bathroom, a large living area with sofa bed lounge, kitchen, TV, Wi fi and cosy nook dining table.
We supply Breakfast Cereal and home made Muesli with honey from our backyard bee's. A loaf of Bread and complimentary tea or coffee. There is also oils and a few spices if you cook.
Convection oven and a couple of hot plates with pots and pans.Toasted sandwich machine also
The entrance is off your own veranda and great for ocean and whale watching and sunny breakfasts watching Wombarra go by.
We are situated on the "Grand Pacific Drive" and in the centre of town opposite the cemetry. The weekend traffic can get busy. There are 2 very tall twin palms out the front and a cottage garden with grassed area where you can park right outside your door. There is no fencing for the front yard.
There is also Plenty of parking down on the street
I live with my daughter Kristy and her 2 sons in the back of the house so we are available with help or advise anytime or station pickups and returns. We alos have Archie the dog and cat Mia
There is a connecting deadlocked door to the apartment with a Privacy lock on your side and we respect you're privacy during your stay. You can hit the privacy lock on your side so we cannot enter, please unlock before you leave.
Children are welcome and able to sleep on queen sofa bed in living area
Plenty of room for portable cot.
We are only 6 minutes drive from the famous Seacliff Bridge which is great to walk across.
There is a council rock pool only 5 minutes walk access via Reef road and the Wombarra cemetery
We have a bowling club next door with great Thai and Aussie food Thursday to Sunday
The RSL at Coledale a 15 minute walk along the coast and many Cafe's and eateries between here and Thirroul.
Hang Gliding at Stanwell Tops is worth a look as is the famous Austinmer and Bulli Beach
We have a historical cemetery across the road.
We are right on the bus stop and the station is 1 .5 kilometres away although it is a steep hill.
We have a winding road that takes you down to Thirroul and the Bulli Pass then express ways thought to Wollongong and the lovely far south coast like Kiama, Jamberoo Fun park and The Fly are all good day trips
Other things to note
Our area is a beautiful part of the South Coast close to many sandy beaches, not far from the National Park. We are only a 30 minute drive to Wollongong and 75 minute drive to Sydney. Close to the railway and bus top is 30 meters down the road
