Tooma Valley B & B and Reception operates from the Historic Old Tooma Store, built in 1857.
The building was extensively renovated and modernised in the early 90's allowing for its current incarnation as a B & B.
The tiny village of Tooma rests on the banks of the tranquil Tumbarumba Creek, Halfway between the townships of Tumbarumba and Corryong in the Western foothills of the Snowy Mountains. The village is a 15k drive to the mighty Murray River- Victorian border.
We are fully self catering and provide a comprehensive Continental breakfast. Depending on the season we regularly offer locally grown produce as a treat for our guests.
We offer 4 Deluxe Queen rooms and pride ourselves in the quality of our bedding and bed linen. Our decor also reflects our attention to detail.
2 rooms have their own ensuite while the remaining 2 share a huge bathroom complete with period claw foot bathtub.
We supply complementary " Saville row" toiletries for your comfort and our towels wouldn't be out of place in a 5 star hotel.
The Kitchen is extremely well equiped and spacious enough to prepare a feast for a large group.
You can also cook on our rear deck where we have a BBQ and outdoor setting for 10. Its the ideal spot for a summer evening meal or evening drinks.
We have 3 seperate dining/ sitting areas so if you feel like some " Me Time" you can easily escape from the rest of the group.
If you don't fell like cooking you can pop next door to the Tooma Inn where great pub food is available for Lunch a Dinner. You might even be challenged by the locals to a game of pool while there
There is a exercise station if you feel the urge to tone up these muscles.
There is ample safe off street parking .

Our geographic location, adjacent to several National Parks and pristine wilderness areas makes our B & B the perfect spot to base your group while pursuing your individual passion.
We can even arrange a yard for your horses and parking for your float or trailer if you want to bring your own. Interesting day and overnight routes can also be suggested for your riding pleasure.
The popular Ski fields of Thredbo and Mt Selwyn are just a1.5 hour drive away.
Notable annual events in the region include the ever popular " Man From Snowy River Festival, Tumbafest, Tumbarumba Rodeo, The Woodland Movie Festival,The Towong Cup and the Nareal Creek Folk festival.
Agricultural shows in the townships of Tumbarumba, Corryong and Jingellic are also well worth a visit.
There are many interesting day trips to be enjoyed in the area including- Paddy's River Falls to Paddy's River Flats then on to the Southern Cloud lookout and back to Tooma - Tooma to Khancoban then across the border to Corryong then out to Cudgewa, Tintaldra then back to base.
A trip from base taking the Elliot way to Cabramurra Australias Highest Town then across the Tumut and Tooma River Reservoirs Part of the Snowy Mountains Hydro Electric Scheem following the Swampy Plains Creek Road to Khancoban then back to Tooma during the summer months is breathtaking.
