Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent property We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this 60s retro style cottage. Tucked in among the bushland on the edge of town, it provided a very quiet retreat. The view in the morning looking out through the glass doors towards the trees with sun shining through the fog, was beautiful. The building is in original condition, which we found very charming, it was well heated and we had everything we needed. We would certainly love to stay again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointing, but nice touches A cold and rainy weekend, arrived late afternoon and the cottage was freezing and damp.Improved with the gas heater on but the bed sheets were damp and the condensation on the windows in the morning was incredible.Seriously needs an extractor fan in the bathroom, also a heater, but no power point! No light outside the back door and no cover from the rain. Needs painting inside, also back door.Curtains need re hanging.I realise it is a retro cottage, and was not expensive, but some maintenance is required.Sorry to be critical,as there were plenty of nice touches.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent cottage stay I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the cottage. Caroline was there to greet me and nothing was too much trouble to make me feel welcome. Milk in the fridge, extra yummies as well made all the difference after a long drive. My little dog loved watching the chooks and the llamas and seemed to be very happy too. Great setup, very comfortable and one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in. If you are in Armidale, do yourself a favour and stay here.
