The Jetty House offers guests a place to unwind and appreciate one of the region’s most sought after areas. The quaint timber house boasts bohemian, beach-style furnishings, fronts onto an expansive, sub-tropical garden.
Only a few minutes’ walk from the house are restaurants, bars, child-friendly and surf- beaches as well as Muttonbird Island and the Marina. Although the place is located in Coffs’ most bustling area, the house is tucked away in total seclusion and privacy.
The house is situated on one level and at the back of the house is a deck, where you can sit and enjoy the ambiance of the garden. It has 3 large bedrooms, comfortably sleeping 6 people in total. The light filled, spacious main living area has 5m high vaulted ceilings and plenty of seating to relax. All beds and bedding are new and so are most of the furnishings and equipment. There is one bathroom with shower and a bath, as well as a separate toilet and washroom. All necessary cooking equipment, good-quality linen and towels, toiletries as well as a continental breakfast for your first morning are provided.
As part of your stay, you can also book a garden visit, which gives you a time to explore the garden at your leisure.
Guided tours of the garden for guests are available by appointment.
5 minutes walk away is the Jetty strip, which offers an abundance of cafés, restaurants and bars. An Artisan bakery is also reachable on foot, selling sourdough bread and French-style patisseries. In terms of activities, the Jetty Dive centre is on the strip where you can organise whale-watching trips, hire diving gear and book Scuba diving courses. About 15 minutes walk away is the Marina, where freshly caught seafood and Fish & Chips can be enjoyed on the Northern Breakwall, overlooking the ocean. If you walk along the Breakwall, an array of marine life such as dolphins, whales, stingrays and numerous varieties of fish are often spotted. At the end of the wall you are able to wander up Muttonbird Island, where you can look back and marvel at the town from a distance, the hinterland and coastline stretching approximately 120 kilometres. These are just a few of the activities available in the region.
