This two-storey house sits high on a hill in an area known as 'Angler's Paradise', is spacious and light-filled and enjoys fantastic lake views. It has recently been painted inside and out.
The upstairs is the main living area. There are three bedrooms upstairs. The main bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom has a double bed and the smaller third bedroom has two single beds.
The living/dining area is open plan and has windows on three sides. Ceiling fans in the living areas and all the bedrooms help keep you cool when the seabreezes decide not to favour Forster. There is an LCD television here. There is also dining tables/seating for up to 8 persons.
The main bathroom is upstairs and has a shower and a separate bathtub. There is a separate toilet next door to the bathroom. There is a new second shower-room/toilet downstairs.
The kitchen is off the dining area. It has a dishwasher, a gas stove, and a microwave/convection oven, and has plenty of cutlery, crockery and pots and pans to cook up a storm during your holiday here. Please note that the kitchen is an older kitchen but is very functional.
A balcony runs the width of the house and has great views of the lake, the bridge and the hinterland.
At the top of the stairs there is a security gate so that babies and toddlers are blocked from going down the stairs.
Downstairs there is a large fourth bedroom. It has a queen bed and a set of bunk beds.
There is also another living area with another television as well as a DVD player. There is a new second bathroom with a shower, vanity and toilet off this room.
Outside there is a large gas BBQ where you can cook and then eat under the trees.
There is outdoor dining seating, which easily seat eight persons.
There is parking outside for up to 4 vehicles on the cement slab at the front of the house. The older-style laundry is also downstairs. It has a tub, washing machine and an extra extendaline clothesline in case of adverse weather. There is plenty of room to store surfboards and bikes downstairs.

The yard is large and fully fenced. It is surrounded by frangipani and other shady trees trees, including a large mango tree - if you are lucky enough to stay in season there will be delicious, juicy mangoes for your breakfast
A large concrete resort-style pool has recently been completed in our tropical rear yard. The pool has frangipani trees on one side and is a beautiful place to relax. Just check out our photos to see what we mean These trees provide summer shade.
For those of you who do not wish to fight the crowds at the beach 'Forster Lakeview' is a wonderful alternative for some R & R..
We do understand that many families would not consider going away without their four-legged friend. 'Forster Lakeview' is dog-friendly for dogs over 12 months of age but dogs must be requested on booking. Dogs are permitted inside at this house but they are not allowed on any of the furniture and especially the beds. They are also not to be left inside the house in your absence. We do request that you bring your dog's own bedding to make him or her feel at home as well as their dogs bowls and any other doggy needs. The yard is fully-fenced and secure. For health reasons dogs are absolutely not permitted in the pool enclosure nor in the pool itself. We require that all dogs that stay have current vaccinations and be treated for fleas and ticks. Dog owners are to ensure that their dog does not dig up the garden beds or lawn. Please also do not leave dogs that love to bark in the yard alone.
SECURITY KEYPAD ENTRY
We now have security keypad entry. Once all monies have been paid and paperwork received you will be able to access the house with your security keycode. This means that you can arrive any time in the evening without having to pick up keys elsewhere.
Forster is a popular area of the Mid-North Coast. Having access to both fabulous beaches and Wallis Lake there is plenty to do for all holidaymakers. Several boat ramps are nearby as are fabulous beaches, which are patrolled in season. Great seafood is a feature of Forster-Tuncurry and there are several excellent restaurants. Sporting facilities include two 18 hole golf courses and water activities.
Main Beach, One Mile Beach, Forster Golf Course, Forster Bowling Club and the new Stockland shopping mall are all only a two minutes' drive away from this centrally located house.
Most of the clubs have courtesy buses that will collect you and bring you home - phone numbers are in the 'HOUSE INFORMATION BOOK'.

BEDLINEN is included and the beds shall be made up for your arrival. There are blankets and bedspreads for all beds as well as pillows. Mattress and pillow protectors are on all beds. It is a Condition of Tenancy that sheets/pillowslips are used on all beds on all times. You are welcome to bring extra blankets if you feel the cold badly. Please note that we do NOT supply bath or beach towels or bathmats. We ask that you please bring your own.
Teatowels are also supplied.
