Situated mid way between Sydney and Brisbane Forest Lodge Farm cottage sits 14 kms from the Historic Heritage town of Bowraville on 125 aces of farmland with the Upper Nambucca river across the road and Buckrabendinni Creek running through the property with several private swimming holes to enjoy. The view from the cottage over the valley is beautiful and the deck is the perfect place to sit back and enjoy the soothing sounds of nature and experience total tranquillity in the clean county air surrounded by farmland and mountain ranges with abundant wildlife. With no mobile service or internet access it is a great escape from the hustle and bustle and demands of every day life.
As Forest Lodge Farm Cottage is 14 kms from the nearest shops guests should bring their own provisions with them. The cottage is fully self-contained with all kitchen equipment, linen and amenities. Bowraville has every day conveniences of supermarket, Bakery, Post Office, Pub, Cafes and Chemist for your needs. There is even a chocolate shop. Major shopping is in Coffs Harbour or Kempsey 1 hour away.
Public transport to the property is unavailable but arrangements can be made to be picked up from Nambucca or Macksville Train Stations or from Coffs Harbour Regional Airport.

Forest Lodge Farm cottage is 1 hour south of Coffs harbour, 30 mins to the beautiful beaches of Nambucca and Valla, in the upper Nambucca Valley. It is a great place to base from for your Mid North Coast Getaway with easy day trips to Coffs Harbour attractions of the Big Banana and Dolphin Marine Magic, Dorrigo's Skywalk and Waterfalls, Urunga and Nambucca Beaches and estuary fishing. The Pub with No Beer is just out of Macksville and a little further afield, South West Rocks Trail Bay Goal, Port Macquarie has the Billabong Zoo and Wauchope's Timbertown. a little closer, just 2 mins up the road is the start of the Horseshoe Road 4wd track which winds its way out through Gumbaynggirr and Killiecrankie Forest to the edge of the New England National Park ending up just west of Bellingen and its markets and Butter Factory. Just to name a few of the local activities.

This is a rural property with cattle and unfenced river and dams. Some paddocks have electric fencing to help protect our animals.
