This newly opened accommodation offers guests a contemporary setting in which to unwind & relax. Sharon & Darrin Coleman are experienced hosts who love helping their guests make the most of their stay. Whether that be relaxing with a book, sightseeing, enjoying a home cooked meal or something more adventurous.
Your holiday is about you. Your hosts are onsite and are happy for you to fend for yourselves and retain full privacy or have a complete holiday where you are completely looked after. Meals cooked, dishes done, rooms tidied, laundry washed & ironed.
A freshly cooked or continental breakfast is included and may be enjoyed in the dining room or alfresco on the deck overlooking the river.
The Superior Riverview room is spacious, air-conditioned, has an ensuite, wide screen television, bar fridge, tea & coffee making facilities and balcony.
Bedding consists of 1 x Queen bed & 1 x Single bed.
For those looking for extra space or to give their other half a sleep in, The Riverside Rest offers a lounge room which features a large corner lounge with chaise, a fireplace, library and board games and wide screen television, along with river views.
"Please note that there are stairs to every level of the Riverside Rest with reception, dining & lounge rooms on the first level and guest rooms are on the second, We have a no pets policy"
Parking is off street.
Dinner is available by arrangement. Where possible, vegies & herbs are straight from our garden and meat is purchased from a local butcher with their own farm. Why not try one of Darrin's salads which have been described by guests as the "best in Australia", "the world", "the universe" &" the multiverse". Can't get better than that.
We are located within a short, level walk to the river, the RSL, the Bowling Club, the Island Golf Course & Club the Boatshed Cafe, Wharf Street Café, boat/kayak/SUP hire and tackle shop. Also nearby are Woolworths, boutiques, cafes, restaurants, beauticians and all Nambucca Heads has to offer.
You can take a dip in the river or at one of the many local beaches, see a movie, walk along the boardwalk to the break wall, peruse the artwork in the Community Centre or create your own by adopting a rock at the break wall & creating your own masterpiece/lasting memory.
Visit the Divine Soul Centre and peruse the crystals, visit a Holistic health practitioner, treatments include: Reiki, massage, clinical hypnotherapy, Reconnective Healing, crystal energy healing and much more. You may also like to visit one of their clairvoyants, mediums, psychics & card readers.
Hire a boat and explore. Do a spot of fishing. Hop in the car and visit towns such as Macksville, Scott's Head, Urunga, Bellingen, Taylor's Arms and Dorrigo. Coffs Harbour is only half an hour away with the Big Banana & Porpoise Pool offering great entertainment for the kids.
