Ideally suited to one large family or two smaller families.
This spacious 2 storey home has 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 generous living areas, a well equipped kitchen, dining room, laundry, 2 balconies to sit back and listen to the crashing waves or spot our resident kangaroo and a backyard excellent for the kids to run around in.
Included in your stay is all luxury linen & towels by Sheridan, Netflix, unlimited Wi-Fi, board games, basic pantry, bathroom & laundry essentials to get you started and a porta-cot and high chair if needed.
Bedroom 1 upstairs: This is the master bedroom with a king size bed, large built in robe, ceiling fan, air-conditioning and access to the front balcony.
Bedroom 2 upstairs: Featuring a double bed with built in wardrobe and ceiling fan.
Bedroom 3 upstairs: This bedroom has 2 king single beds, a large built in wardrobe and ceiling fan.
Bedroom 4 downstairs: Queen size bed and a large built in wardrobe.
Bedroom 5 downstairs: Featuring a bunk bed with a double bed on the bottom and single on top plus a chest of drawers.
Bathroom 1 upstairs: This is the main bathroom with a bath, shower & toilet. Immerse yourself in the lavishly deep bath or let the kids splash around after a day at the beach.
Bathroom 2 downstairs: This bathroom was originally petite with a toilet and shower, however the newly renovated laundry with door locks and window blinds gives you an extended space to use.
Living 1 upstairs: Spacious and comfortable with 2 cushy lounges easily seating 6 adults, TV with Netflix, DVD player, ceiling fan, air-conditioning, fireplace and board games to entertain the whole family. There is direct access to the front balcony.
Living 2 downstairs: Featuring a roomy 5 seater modular lounge, TV with Netflix, DVD player and air-conditioning.
N.B. We do not supply firewood for the fireplace or have DVD’s, however you are welcome to bring your own.
The kitchen has everything you need, whether you’ll be cooking a romantic meal for 2 or a dinner party for 8. There is an ASKO oven, hotplate, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle and water filter. Plenty of utensils, cookware & tableware plus a pantry stocked with the essentials. Access to the back deck makes for extended indoor/outdoor dining.
The dining room has a gorgeous solid oak Hamptons dining table which seats 8 in comfort. A room where many conversations will be had and memories made.
The laundry has recently been upgraded with a coastal cool palette to allow for a larger downstairs bathroom and more bench & cupboard space. There is a washing machine and dryer along with a bar fridge.
Front balcony: Enjoy your morning cuppa on the vast front balcony basked in sunlight, if you’re lucky you may see a kangaroo or two on the front lawn or across the road. As the day begins to end and the sun starts to set it’s the perfect space to enjoy a beer or wine with family and friends.
Back deck: The back deck is the ideal space to watch the kids playing in the yard or to relax on the outdoor lounge.
Backyard: Containing everything you need to entertain the kids and adults alike. There is an 8-seat outdoor dining set with BBQ, excellent for those balmy summer nights. There is a small play structure with slide and the space is just big enough for some quintessentially Australian backyard cricket.
Located in North Haven, NSW, just moments through a bush track to the breakwall and a 5-minute walk to Grants Beach. The breakwall has a fantastic walk that runs from Grants Beach to the bridge at Laurieton and you are almost always guaranteed to see dolphins. Grants Beach is patrolled weekends and every day in NSW school holidays. It is 3.5kms long and is paralleled by a lovely walking track perfect for the wildlife enthusiasts.
There is a plethora of activities and something to suit everyone. Water activities include fishing, swimming, surfing and boating. If the beach is your thing, you can explore the best the region has to offer. Pilot beach is excellent for families with its calm waters or head to Diamond Beach where you can often see kangaroos on the sand and explore the rock pools at low tide National Park entry fee. For the food and wine connoisseurs there are wineries, cafes, restaurants and oyster shacks where you can wait whilst they freshly shuck them. For the adventurous you can take a hike up North Brother Mountain, enjoy one of the many local walks or get a permit to go 4WD on the beach at Diamond Head. If you happen to get a rare rainy day you can watch a movie at Laurieton’s Plaza Theatre where Baz Lurhmann spent some of his childhood.
Port Macquarie is just under half an hour’s drive away and there is a wealth of activities on offer once you’ve exhausted all the local options.
