The cottage is 50 m from the pristine Corindi Creek estuary, which is great for swimming, canoeing or fishing. Walk to unspoilt beaches, heathland, and coastal forest. The area is a birdwatchers paradise with Ground Parrot, Beach Stone-Curlew, Southern Emu-Wren, migratory waders and many more. The local surf beach is patrolled at weekends and during school holidays.
The house has a fully equipped kitchen, gas BBQ on the deck, laundry, indoor and outdoor dining areas, and a fenced back yard. There is sleeping for 8, 3 bedrooms (1 queen,1 double bed with single bunk above, and one bunk bed plus single), 2 bathrooms plus outdoor shower. The house is on tank water and has a septic sewerage system.
Red Rock is a coastal hamlet situated approximately halfway between Coffs Harbour and Grafton, bordering Yuragir National Park. There is a shop at the caravan park selling essentials, plus a bowling club which has a restaurant (including take-away). Woolgoolga is a short (12 km) drive away, with supermarkets, banks, restaurants and cafes, post office, medical services etc.
