Tambreet is situated on a 125 acre livestock breeding property, producing Angus cattle, goats and poultry. It is the ideal location to get away from it all - just sit back relax and enjoy your private view through the rainforest to the creek. Perhaps you might spot the shy platypus, or if you are an avid photographer set yourself up for the spectacular sunrises and sunsets over the distant mountains, or capture some of the 80+ species of birds so far identified on the farm.
If you are after a little more activity, there is plenty to explore away from the farm. You could head east for a day trip to the coast – beaches and lakes, restaurants, cafes and many local boutique wineries. On another day you might like to head west into the mountains - 4wd’ing, bushwalking and sight-seeing some of the natural wonders within the nearby National Parks and State Forests. Or visit the timber town of Wauchope and explore the lush dairy hinterland of Comboyne.
Please Note - This cottage is a no smoking venue, also no pets allowed and children are not provided for.
