Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful Property The only reason We can't rate 5 star was the town lost power for most of the weekend! Not fun when the water is on a pump as well. OTHERWISE awesome weekend .... lovely property extremely well designed. Would love to go back in summer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Relaxing weekend We enjoyed our stay but the bathroom could do with an update. The rooms were spacious and well equiped. The house is not suitable for anyone who is disabled, the elderly or toddlers. There are too many stairs. The photos and advertising did not state that the house is on four levels.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great location, good property We stayed in early March with a group of friends. The location was great - just over 3 hours north of Sydney, with easy walking access (<5mins) to quiet beaches for a very relaxing weekend away. Sugarloaf lighthouse is a short 15-20min walk away. The house is split level with a very large combined dining, living and kitchen area at on the top, leading out to a covered patio. We had perfect beach weather and the louvres could be opened to bring a nice breeze through the house. Unfortunately, there isn't any air conditioning or fans, so we had to rely on that. The kitchen is very well stocked with ample bench space to prepare meals for a large family/group. Lots of nooks and crannies in the main living space to read a book, play board games, chat etc. The bedrooms, showers and bathrooms are all accessible via outdoor covered stairs/walkways - so they are exposed to the elements if the weather isn't great. The two bedrooms with queen beds have a fan and are slightly cooler (they sit under the main living block). The third bedroom is further down and exposed; so without a fan, it can be a bit hot in there. If you have kids who'd be using that, it'd be helpful to bring a fan for those hot summer nights. Because the place is somewhat exposed, expect a few creepy crawlies here and there - i.e. moths in the bathrooms after dark, spiders here and there and hot/cold weather. There is WiFi, but we couldn't get it working during our stay (property manager was very helpful though). We suspect it was actually Telstra's fault. Note that the place is in a mobile phone blackspot for all networks, but there is a phone line in the property. Great for a weekend away disconnected from the outside world! If you need to make calls or check emails, walk up to the beach where you'll get some reception. We'd definitely stay here again; loved our time at this property. A very well designed place and great location!
