The house is appointed for comfort and enjoyment. The living room with comfortable lounge, big screen TV and DVDs will help you to feel right at home. Indoor/outdoor dining, a generously equipped kitchen and BBQ are what you will use for making and sharing delicious meals. Whether you choose to curl up in the light-filled reading room or compete in the games rooms - you will find both perfect for relaxing. When play time is over, two queen bedrooms with own ensuite and deck, and one queen room and 1 twin room sharing a 3-way bathroom give personal space...and...every window has a view
Take in the natural surrounds attracting wallabies, birdlife, goannas, frogs and other wildlife...every season has a feature. Summer has brought out a new family of waterdragons ...you'll meet them at the gazebo.
There's lots to do at Topi Gums Enjoy a game of pool or table tennis, a paddle in the dam, a barbecue on the deck, refreshments in the gazebo or a nap in the hammocks. Be dazzled by the stars, planets and galaxies. The dark sky is a canvas for astral viewing. Allow the fresh air and space of Topi Gums to unleash your creativity or just relax with a good book.
Topi Gums has a low ecological footprint. You'll be using onsite solar generated electricity and drinking rainwater. Overall, chemical-free products are used to maintain clean and toxic free accommodation.
We will have the beds ready for you with fresh linen, and the bathroom supplied with fluffy towels and guest toiletries. You will also find a selection of Twinings teas, Nespresso coffee capsules and other special treats. During cooler months the fire box will be ready for you to light on your arrival, and you will have plenty of firewood on hand.
A note on pricing: The price displayed is based on the use of 1-2 bedrooms during low season. An additional charge applies to use 3-4 bedrooms and/or during peak season.
LOCATION AND ACTIVITIES:
Located in the beautiful Great Lakes of NSW, Topi Gums is a short, scenic drive to beaches, lakes and national parks. Seal Rocks, Smiths Lake, Myall Lake, Wallis Lake and the Pacific Palms beaches, the National Parks of Myall Lake, Booti Booti and Wallingat and Forster are places to visit.
Local activities include swimming, surfing, boating, fishing, bushwalking, picnicing, golf, tennis, adventure and sight-seeing tours, bird or wildlife spotting.
The Great Lakes area has amazing viewing points to observe dolphins and the annual whale migration from mid May to late July, and again from mid September to late November. You can book Whale/Dolphin watching tours.

THE LAND: The Worimi people who occupied many areas of the Great Lakes and the Birrimbai tribe who occupied areas of Bungwahl, named it: Topi, meaning 'to stay', and Topi Topi meaning: to stay a little while longer. It is believed that the region of Topi Topi was not settled by any of the Worimi tribes, rather they travelled through and rested there. Therefore, we offer you an earlier check-in time and an extended check-out time, so that you too may stay a little longer.
ADVICE: Due to its location and setting, Topi Gums is not recommended for children who are not risk aware, or people who may require fast medical assistance. Motorised trail bikes, weapons and noisy behaviour strictly prohibited.
