Lounge, Dining, Kitchen:
The spacious lounge room is perfect with its 1870's antiques. It even has the cedar bookcase from the old Jerilderie Hotel that may have been there when Ned robbed the place Relax in a leather armchair or spread out on the sofa whilst watching Foxtel on the huge TV. Reverse cycle air conditioning keeps you warm in the cooler months or cool on the hot summer days. Ceiling fans and sea breezes naturally cool the rooms on all but the most scorching of summer days The spacious modern kitchen is well equipped with appliances and kitchen utensils.
The patio area is perfect to entertain family and friends with a large gas barbeque. Hot water outdoor shower for rinsing sand off before going inside
The king room features a huge king size bed with pillow foam mattress and ceiling fan. The room also has lots of cupboard space if you plan a longer stay.
Beach / Queen Room:
The beach room is located at the street end of the house and has a verandah which opens out onto Memorial Avenue. The queen bed has a duck down quilt and storage drawers at the foot of the bed. Further storage is available in the 3 drawer dresser and tower coat rack. The other end of the room features a modern sitting area with TV and DVD player.
Furnished with antiques that would have been in vogue at the time of the Cottage's construction. The beautifully restored brass bed has a comfortable pillow top mattress. Storage is available in the antique cedar wardrobe.
Bathrooms and Laundry:
The bathrooms and laundry have a total of one spa bath, 2 toilets, 2 showers and one washing machine.
Off street parking behind the house on a concrete slab with 3 spaces.
A holiday offers a true escape from the hustle and bustle of modern day living. South West Rocks is a small coastal town on the mid north coast situated near the mouth of the Macleay River - by car approximately 5 hours from Sydney or Brisbane. South West Rocks offers 8 beautiful white sandy beaches, some of the best scuba diving in Australia, a modern Country Club with bowling greens, 18 hole golf course and tennis courts, the Seabreeze Hotel overlooking the Pacific Ocean and the Riverside Tavern on the bank of the Macleay River. Within the Arakoon State Recreation area is the historical Trial Bay Gaol and the popular Trial Bay Kiosk, a great place for breakfast, lunch or tea. There are many small shops, great cafes and restaurants in the centre of town and a Coles shopping centre on the edge of town.
Linen is not supplied in this holiday letting. You will need to bring your own sheets, pillowcases, towels, tea towels & tablecloths, etc. You also need to provide your own toilet paper, soap & dishwashing liquid, etc. If you do not wish to bring linen,you will receive contact details for the linen hire firms in your confirmation email.
