Woolgoolga is a beautiful beachside village located 25km north of Coffs Harbour. The climate is great and there is plenty to do whether it be just relaxing at the beach, enjoying a coffee, leisurely lunch or something more energetic like surfing, diving, kayaking, golfing and walking.
Dolphins can often be seen frolicking in the waves and Woolgoolga headland is the perfect spot for whale watching during their migration season.
Activities and attractions in the Coffs Coast area and hinterland include scuba diving; whale watching boat tours (in season); game fishing; kayaking; skydiving; horse riding; golfing; rainforest walks in Dorrigo National Park; art and craft galleries; botanical gardens and of course Dolphin Marine Magic and the Big Banana. There are lots of places to go shopping and a wide range of cafes and restaurants.
Byron Bay is about 2½ hours north. If driving from Sydney, Woolgoolga is a great stopover on the way.
