Nan's Place -Cosy, quaint, compact - yet there is room for all the family - and the grandkids - sleeping up to 11. 2xBunks, 2xTrundles, 1xTriBunk, 1xQueen This was Nan's and still has the relaxed cosy atmosphere, with a no fuss feel the only difference is it has been totally revamped and renovated. Nan's house is located right in the heart of Woolgoolga. It has a fenced yard with a rear lane access - yes, room to park the boat and for the kids to play - under the mango trees Nan's has a front porch and a functional covered back deck - with a BBQ. The three bedrooms are tastefully furnished - with the largest room being let for the kids - just as Nan would have said - "Spoil those kids." So we have We have created the KIDS RETREAT - sleeping up to 6 kids in this spacious room it is complete with their own flat screen plasma and dvd player built-in The kitchen is totally functional with brand new appliances and allowing the cook of the family to be apart of everything that is going on - with it opening onto the dining and looking out to the deck area. The bathroom has a shower and toilet - with a second of each being located in the laundry. So if you are in need of a relaxed getaway in a more than comfortable home, centrally located to every thing you may need, shops, cafes, beach and pool, this would be a great place for your next holiday.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Could have been dealt with better Ok so the bin was full and at the road side when we arrived, we had tv reception only for the first night we arrived I was give a cord to play the DVD player and to watch copied movies at the property. the kitchen chairs were abit wobbly and I didn’t want to get charged for them breaking, there was not hot water electrician came but no hot water until the afternoon the back veranda wood is quite and my family had an event that we needed to get ready for and I was offered a key to another property that I would have to walk my family to use the bathroom Which was nice but not practical at all. There was smell of dead mice and I couldn’t handle it anymore and found it under the couch along with some toys and small rubbish. There is no air conditioning and one of the room doesn’t have a fan and some of the screens were damaged so you couldn’t open the window. The garden chairs were splitting and my daughter nearly fell through it and the check out time is ridiculous you have to leave at 9am so if you have a family and need to have breakfast and clean the house good luck. And the whole linen thing is annoying I took mine to save on another expense. But if those things didn’t happen and it was handled better I would have given an awesome review it’s was good for us because we have children and it’s in between 2 businesses so you wouldn’t get noise complaint, it’s central weekend suck abit with the cocktail bar next door but wasn’t overly noisy and it sleeps enough people.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cozy, Close to shops, beach, food My husband & I stayed at Nans Place, it was close to the beach & shops, however I was expecting a few more things out of the property, luckily we brought towels to have a shower with (well beach towels). On arrival we noticed there was no toilet paper, shampoo & shower soap etc.. washing detergent (to wash the towels etc..) (there was no mention of these items being needed or having to be bought prior to renting the property, (it was a semi furnished rental house) (you have to rent bed linen from the office). The bathroom & laundry look like they have been revamped & renovated in 1980’s The lounge room would be too small for a family of 5 or more. The property was mostly tidy (did have a few cockroaches) even though we didn't have food out. Also you must clean the house prior to leaving & you need to hand the keys back before 9am (which I found a little early if you have to eat breakfast clean the house & pack all dishes away & pack up the family too. (this would be very hard if you had 11 people staying there) Overall, Cosy, But we wouldn’t stay at Nan’s again
