You have the choice of 6 private, comfortable self-contained one-bedroom cottages. One cottage has approved wheelchair access. All have ceiling fans for summer and eco-wall heaters, + electric blankets on request for winter.
Each has a private garden, a 2 metre wide bull-nosed verandah and easy access to several BBQ areas. Four have separate Queen sized bedrooms (two have twin King single beds) and there is flexibility for more than a couple as there are sofa bed lounges & foldaway beds available.
It is an ideal property for small groups & family reunions, to get together amidst a serene, bushland & rainforest setting. Depending on other bookings, pets are welcome.
All linen is provided except beach towels. There is satellite TV and Reception has a DVD library, board games, various magazines and some non-fiction & fiction books. Internet is available in the front cottages and guests who are in cottages further away can still access the internet - just ask.
A 3 bedroom house for up to 7 guests is also available - ask for details and other accommodation options. It has it's own website.

Crabbes Creek is a small rural, hinterland village with its own unique General Store just off Tweed Valley Way, the old Pacific Highway. It is the most southern village in the Tweed Shire & has a very convenient location with quick access off the Byron to Brisbane M1 Freeway. It is 20 minutes from Murwillumbah to the north & Byron Bay is 20 minutes to the south.
Coolangatta/Gold Coast Airport, to the north, is 30 minutes away. Ballina Airport, to the south, is 40 minutes drive.
Crabbes Creek provides a convenient & ideal respite from music & other festivals such as Splendour in the Grass and Falls at North Byron Parklands, BluesFest in Byron Bay, Writers' Festivals, National Cycling events, Brunswick Heads "Fish & Chips" Festival in the New Year, Boomerang cultural festival & the Poker Championships at Billinudgel.
Enjoy the beautiful beaches close by (the closest are Wooyung & South Golden) , the restaurants of Brunswick Heads, Byron Bay or the local pub, The Victory at Mooball, & cafes at Brunswick Heads or New Brighton. Go to the local markets. Visit the Regional Art Gallery in Murwillumbah and enjoy Olleywood, Margaret Olley's reconstructed house, take a river cruise, go kayaking or try to catch a crab. Watch the whales during winteras they journey north from pristine Wooyung Beach, climb Mt Warning or visit Minyon Falls or Natural Arch.
Play golf at Ocean Shores or one of the many other local courses; go horse riding, gliding or parachuting at Tyagarah. Visit Nimbin, Mullumbimby and other Hinterland towns, or hop on the freeway to Tweed Heads & spend a day shopping in Coolangatta or at the many clubs. Try Hot-air ballooning or catch a helicopter to your cottage.
No matter what your activity, you will return to the sounds of the creek & bird song to watch the stars in this magical valley.
