Property Features:

Tastefully designed to create the perfect holiday home right on the beach. The home has three pavillions separated by timber decks offering stunning views as far as the eye can see. The timber floors and huge bi-fold doors create the ambience of bringing the beach right to your door.

First pavillion has the main bedroom and ensuite bathroom. Second pavillion has combined lounge room, kitchen and dining area. Third pavillion has bedroom 2 with ensuite and bedrooms 3 & 4 which share a walk-through bathroom.

Belongil Beach Area:

For many, locals and residents alike, Belongil Beach is right at the top of the list when it comes to their favourite beachfront accommodation in and around Byron Bay. From Main Beach in the centre of town opposite the Beach Hotel it stretches all the way to somewhere just past Belongil Creek, and the contrast could not be bigger. The beach starts right at your front door and yet, you are only ever a ten-minute walk away from town with its sophisticated shopping and the palpable excitement of its busy and vibrant bar and restaurant scene. On your walk to town, the Byron Lighthouse is your marker and on the way back, there is nothing but wild beach and reserve, while to the north, Mt Warning beckons in the far distance.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Amazing location, shame about the house itself Cannot fault the location, it is sensational. The sunrises are spectacular and sunsets just as beautiful. Such a shame the owners have not put a cent into maintaining the property itself. At the price we paid per night in low season (winter) I would expect significantly more. Had it not been for the location, we would have stayed one night and then tried to find something else. The state of the property put a real dampener on our getaway. Where do I begin.... Multiple light globes require replacing which for a house with so few lights, due to the corrugated iron ceiling, is a big issue. I had to move a lamp to the lounge room just so we were able to see while sitting in the lounge area at night. Blankets not laundered, smelled musty. Not sure when the last time the rugs were moved so the floor underneath could be vacuumed/cleaned but they were extremely dirty/sandy. Poor quality and mismatched glassware and crockery, no sharp knives or scissors, making any sort of cooking difficult. Kitchen appliances dirty and dated - had to clean out the kettle before using due to the scale build up, cupboards and drawers not wiped clean inside. Bathrooms tired and dated with corroded tap ware and mould in the grout. Bifold/Sliding doors in desperate need of repair - not able to be locked properly due to wood rotting, extremely difficult to slide - one door was so stuck it took two of us to slide it closed. Odd furniture placement and too much of it eg 10 dining chairs for a table that only fits 8, so two chairs had to sit awkwardly in doorways. Two arm chairs in the lounge area that sat up against a wall of French doors designed to be opened but couldn’t be accessed without rearranging the furniture. Layout of the house meant you had to lock every door from the outside at night time in order to secure the property. Beds very small (a double in the master bedroom!?!) and poor quality polyester filled pillows and bedding. Ensuite in master not stocked - one roll of toilet paper which left us trying to unlock other bathrooms in the dark trying to find more. Smoke alarm in master disconnected and left sitting in a drawer in the ensuite. Bath plug broken. A damp quilt cover left in the dryer to go musty. And that is without even mentioning the dated interiors - silver textured floor to ceiling wall paint? Need I say more? With more and more luxury holiday home rental options at this price point now available, I would suggest these owners need to pick up their act and spend some of the rental income they are raking in on maintaining their property. If you are someone who enjoys hotel level luxury then do not stay here, you will be disappointed.

The accommodations were even more beautiful than pictured and the service was above and beyond our expectations. The property was clean and welcoming. Please share our thanks with your staff. We can't wait to visit again!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Prime Beach Front The beach front location of the property was the perfect location to absorb the beautiful Byron Bay surroundings. The property is in need of maintenance as doors are difficult to close and lock. The water supply to the ensuite shower is poor.
