Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pretty good apartment I stayed here the past weekend & had a nice time. Pro's: private balcony, walking distance to town, price quite reasonable for Byron bay, good customer service at office. Cons: lights didn't work in the kitchen, DVD player provided couldn't be connected to the tv as it needed a hdmi & only had those old yellow, white, red cords that couldn't be plugged into the tv, no batteries in the remotes, hand soap dispenser was empty. Overall only small things to improve on & stay would be very enjoyable:)

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lacking in comfort This apartment has some good qualities in that it was only a 2-5 min drive from the centre of town and nice and quite location, even during Schoolies season, but there were some big negatives which I could not overlook. Firstly, the bedding was just AWFUL! The main bedroom had a metal bed frame with wooden slats but the mattress on top was an old, thin foam mattress which meant that you could feel every slat underneath you! Needless to say I didn't have a single decent night sleep while I was there. The second bedroom had the double bed on the bottom bunk which was an old spring mattress, again not at all comfortable. The top bunk mattress was another thin foam one which was even worse than the main bedroom. I would not recommend this property at all if you are planning to sleep at all. Secondly, we visited Byron at the start of December so the weather had definitely started to warm up but the apartment had no air-con or even a single fan! There were plenty of heaters and extra blankets but nothing to help beat the heat which was a serious oversight. The layout of the kitchen was not very practical so having more than one person in there at a time was difficult but we didn't end up using the cooking facilities anyway, preferring to get out of the stuffy hot rooms. In all, for the amount of money we paid to stay there, I was hugely disappointed in the lack of comfort of this property and would not recommend it.
