Belongil Beach Area:

The small hamlet of Belongil Beach is a mix of residential area and beachside holiday accommodation stretching all the way from Byron Bay to the Belongil Creek estuary. The town centre with its vibrant shopping and exciting bar and restaurant scene is only a 10-minute walk along a beautiful stretch of golden sand, while on the way home, there is nothing but wild beach and reserve as far as the eye can see. Leave the cares of the world behind & enjoy this slice of paradise whilst relaxing in your very own beautiful beachside holiday accommodation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We visit every year! My family just love staying at Chateu Relaxo! We visit every year and stay for two weeks, it has become a tradition in our family. The location could not be better for a young family; close enough to town for a leisurely walk for icecreams in the evening or a spot of shopping but far away enough that you dont have any noise concerns, and right on Belongil Beach. The unit is clean, crisp and freshly updated with plenty of space for a family. The kitchen is fully self contained with a bbq on the enormous and very private covered deck, fabulous for relaxing and enjoying meals. The pool is right on your doorstep, yet the ground floor deck and locked gates make it safe for young children. I recommend Chateau Relaxo to everyone as it is great value and perfectly suits my family.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spacious , Bright and Beautifully Furnished I first stayed at 1/34 Kendall St in September 2015 on the recommendation of a friend and I was not disappointed! I loved it so much that I have already been back for my second visit. The apartment is spacious, bright, beautifully furnished and well equipped. The layout is family friendly and the large outdoor terrace overlooking the pool is the perfect spot for lounging on the daybed with a book or enjoying a BBQ. The location is quiet yet central, only a short stroll into town and moments to beautiful Belongil Beach. Also within walking distance is Treehouse Belongil where we spent many an afternoon relaxing with a cold drink while enjoying some live music, the food here is also fantastic a must do on your visit to Byron! This really is the perfect base for a Byron stay fresh, modern and relaxed with all that Byron has to offer at your fingertips.

I first stayed at 1/34 Kendall St in May 2016, this is a really special place and is a delight to stay in, so much character within and everything you could wish for from the beach and restaurants nearby to the comfort within the place,you can feel the relaxation. I would thoroughly recommend this Byron Bay Beach house to anyone who wanted to relax close to the beach.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect apartment in a gorgeous location This was just perfect for our family of 4. 2 adults and 2 kids(3+5 yrs old)! The pool was right out side our door and the walk to the centre of town was only ten-15 mins away, although this took longer with the kids so it was an adventure. The local cafes and restaurants had delicious and yummy food for us (we eat gluten/wheat/egg/dairy free foods and we couldn't have been happier with the food options.! I highly recommend this place! So easy to be relaxed here with all the mod cons and we loved sleeping on the day bed inside.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable 5 night stay Ample space and easy access to beach. 10 min walk to town. The only negative point is the traffic noise on Kendall st.
