Flamingo Cottage is a beautifully renovated farmhouse that has been lovingly restored whilst retaining its old world charm. Dating back over 100 years, this cottage is beautifully appointed with spacious, light filled bedrooms that open onto a large communal lounge & modern kitchen, creating an easy flow through area for all our guests to enjoy. A haven of tranquility, every aspect of Flamingo Cottage looks out to private, luscious, subtropical gardens.
The cottage is a short walk to Byron’s main beaches and the town center, or a quick cycle on one of our beach cruiser bicycles.
Flamingo Cottage features five individually styled bedrooms, three with beautifully decorated ensuites, with the main bathroom featuring a luxurious twin shower. Flat screen TV’S, air-conditioning and Wi-Fi are all provided in every bedroom as well as the main living room. Stunning timber floors are a feature throughout. Guests have a modern and fully equipped kitchen, generous open plan living area, and a generous outdoor deck. Flamingo Cottage is an idyllic sanctuary for family and friends.
The cottage sleeps up to ten adults, with king beds in four of the bedrooms, and a queen bed in the fifth. The option exists to split two of the king beds into four single beds.
Flamingo Cottage features an expansive outdoor area, featuring a generous private timber deck and entertaining area, equipped with a large outdoor table, BBQ and butterfly lounge chairs. The cottage provides a relaxed atmosphere and makes the most of its subtropical environment.
Sleeps ten people. Five bedrooms (four king beds, one queen bed). Two bedrooms with option to convert to single. (TV/Wi-Fi/Air-conditioning supplied). Three ensuites. Byron Bay is a two-hour drive from Brisbane. Qantas, Jetstar and Virgin Blue fly to Ballina (30 minutes' drive) and the Gold Coast (an hour's drive). A car is essential for visiting Bangalow, Mullumbimby, Kingscliff and the rest of the greater Byron-Tweed Heads coast.
