WHAT TO EXPECT
On your stay you are welcome to roam our gardens, use the pool, do morning yoga in the bandstand and pick seasonal vegetables from the garden. Or... as the cabin is private and situated far enough away from our home you can enjoy perfect peace and quiet, disturbed only by the birds.
The cabin is located about 50m from our house and is a short walk from the car parking area.
Interaction with guests
Interaction is up to you. We are always available for advice and assistance and enjoy informing visitors of some of the magical places, best eateries and things happening in the shire.
The locality is stunning. Coorabell runs along the top of the escarpment overlooking the rolling hills of Myocum and the Byron coastline.
Close to the beach, restaurants, cafes, shopping and attractions. A great place to stay during the festival times, Bluesfest, Slendour etc.
Best form of transport is definitely car. Ballina Airport is 25 mins away and Gold Coast Airport 40mins away, both offer rental cars from a selection of vendors.
We live on a rural property in close contact to nature. There are birds, lizards, marsupials, sometimes koalas, definitely chickens roaming around day and night.
Depending on the time of year there are also ants, bugs, flying insects, mozzies and yes... snakes. Although only a python and whip snake have been seen in our time here. Both beautiful and no threat
We do our best to mitigate any unwanted creatures and do not see them ever effecting your stay negatively. We supply great natural inspect repellent and lavender oil for any bites.
