Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Property - weird non-inclusions The property was lovely and a perfect getaway in a quite area. We had to pay for all linen - including a tea towel... (that was a first). You also had to pay for the linen to be delivered (also a first) and you had to make the beds yourselves - the linen was just left in a bag in the garage (another first).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great location Awesome holiday! Pros: super location, really well fitted out with all the kitchen utensils you could possibly want - even blender etc, lovely furniture, plenty of pillows & doonas, loads of games & books & beach gear, great pool. Cons: only 1 TV (but we had 4 teens & got by ok), no wifi.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great beach holiday This house is well appointed and comfortable for families or a group of friends. We enjoyed the self contained downstairs bedroom with bathroom with room for a mattress on the floor for child, and the bedrooms upstairs were all a great size, and not noisy. We found the pool cold (end of October) but the jets in pool were great. Lots of kitchen equipment, games, Foxtel etc. our pooch enjoyed the beach but this house has no fenced grass area for dog or small kids to play on. Walking distance from Salt and the beach, plus the playground. All the small things make for a great stay. Will definitely consider for a future stay and compares well to other houses we have rented previously in the area.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow, what a lovely home Had a weekend away with some girlfriends and this house was amazing for this, with 5 massive bedrooms we all had a room to ourselves and the open living of the kitchen and 1 of the lounges made it the perfect place for us to relax and chat enjoying champagne. Great location of short walk to Salt Village for dinner and the beach and not far from Kingscliff centre with great walk pathways. Would highly recommend. Will be returning.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beyond Expectations! I booked this house to have a reunion with some very dear friends visiting from Norway. I wanted to treat them to something special and we also had an 8 year old birthday to celebrate. I envisioned relaxing at the property, cooking a beautiful roast and other lovely meals, baking cupcakes and generally making the most of the property. With all the cooking I had in mind I was not sure about what would be available so I took baking trays, patty cake pans, good knives etc. Upon entering the house we were blown away! So unassuming from the street, it was divine! The children were instantly excited and, within moments, so too were the adults! The first thing we noticed was how immaculately clean it was - stunning. We took the whole upstairs (couple and 2 kids aged 8 & 10 with still room remaining upstairs for 2 more). The master suite upstairs was fantastic and if you had small children you could easily grab a couple of the spare foam mattresses from the cupboard under the stairs and sleep them on the floor in there with mum and dad. Our 10 year old felt like a princess in the queen bedroom and our 8 year old boy loved the twin single room opposite the bathroom. We enjoyed a wonderful spa in our ensuite. Our guests had the downstairs suite which was just as impressive as the upstairs one, just as grand! They had a young boy aged 4 so he went on a mattress on the floor beside their bed. We still had the single bed downstairs room vacant. HEAPS OF ROOM FOR EVERYONE!!! There was no sound disturbance upstairs to down. None of us heard each other through the night. This house is perfect for 2 families! Also the 2 separate living areas makes it ideal when you are staying with children and they LOVED the extensive DVD collection in "their" lounge room with the in ceiling surround sound speakers - WOAH! They got stuck into all the board games as well and of course they were in heaven with the pool! I had a fabulous time in the kitchen, what can I say? WOW! I have NEVER stayed in a holiday house with so much on offer in the kitchen. Needless to say I did not unpack my "kitchen" from the car, even the knives were sharp :-D There was a huge assortment of cookware, serving ware, storage containers, chopping boards, mixing bowls etc... The men loved the in built coffee machine once they figured out how to use it (some instructions would be super helpful) and I loved the dishwasher once I figured it out (the panel has been rubbed off so I just pressed buttons until it came on, again some instructions might help others). The only thing slightly lacking in the kitchen was glassware, it was fine for us as only 4 adults we just scraped it through, but I imagine if the house was full to capacity they might struggle to all have a glass. Honestly those 3 little points above only serve as a prompt for the owners and did not impact on our stay in the slightest, we were absolutely wrapped in the premises and our visitors were overjoyed at their very special treat. I would book this house again in a heartbeat, I might even stay there all by myself for a week just to chill out hehehe
